However, the fan experience needs to have more focus. The fan experience is not there and there needs to be an emphasis on how the fan experience could be better. I don't believe that there is not enough focus and drive to make sure that the fan experience is a better one.
It was a fun experience to watch both nights. There was a lot of good basketball to watch at a very reasonable price. I would do it again.
The experience was so awesome from the ease in acquiring tickets to directions to picking up tickets at will call to locating seats. Everything flowed smoothly. The venue was amazing.
Surprised that in this day and age the only way to pick up tickets was will call. No e-tickets for convenience and time-efficiency?
I’ve attended several D-III Championships at Salem, VA and my last one the first year in Fort Wayne in 2019. All have been outstanding. I’m pleased it’s in Indiana and happy Fort Wayne has taken on the challenge of hosting the event. I’m a retired coach and my team won the Championship in 1982. The tournament has come a long way since then and has gotten better throughout all these years. I was really pleased with the way Fort Wayne put on a fabulous tournament. I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff involved. The ticket distributors were really nice helping with tickets. I hope this will be the site for future D-III Championships.
Loved it. But could have used some programs for the tournament.
The arena was nice, the food choices were great. Hopefully our team returns next year!!
The game, the venue and everything connected to the basketball was top notch. The tickets on my phone were very easy and convenient. Using Ticketmaster almost doubled the cost of the tickets, that felt pretty steep to me.
The DIII NCAA final four (and final) were a blast. There was a ton of energy from each of the school's fans, great atmosphere, and high level competition. I can't wait to go again next year.
We went to the championship game and it was a great time. It would have been nice if there had been a better crowd, but we still really enjoyed it. Ft. Wayne is a great location with lots of restaurants and hotels. We’ll be back next year!
Great convenience and ease of getting into and around the Coliseum. Huge ripoff on total ticket price with the total cost double the cost of the ticket!

I can't believe that you couldn't order reserved seats on line. Only General admission. We wanted to sit with other fans from UWW. some had reserved tickets but we could only buy gen admission. The people at the ticket office switched our tickets to reserved, but had no idea where the UWW fan would be sitting, so we still didn't get grouped with like fans. For as many years as you have been holding the event there, this should be a no brainer.
Excellent time, games were fun. Food was awful with no selection, particularly for having events at dinner time. Nachos were nasty! Just having some apples, bananas, smoothies, carrots, etc. would have helped, especially with so many people with dietary restrictions these days. nothing on their menus but empty carbs and soda. (pizza, chilidogs, corndogs, bagged popcorn, cookies, pretzels and "nachos"). Oh there was water.
Wow. What a weekend to be a Whitewater fan! After a great semifinal win over IWU, (although the other semifinal game was a bore), the final against Williams was an instant classic. Definitely worth the trip, although there was probably no need to buy a ticket in advance (would have been $10 cheaper to buy it at the gate).
Hadn't seen DIII Basketball before but as a local, it was fun to see high quality b'ball so close.
