We attended the 1st and 2nd round sessions of the 2018 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament. The Yum! Center is a great venue for basketball. The event staff welcomes you on the way in, are courteous, helpful and even say goodbye on the way out. The basketball games were very good. Women's basketball seems to be more fundamentally sound than the men's game.
Love my Louisville Cardinals. Loved my seats. Would go again.
An awesome game played by Louisville's Lady Cards against Boise St during first round, and Marquette during 2nd round. Asia Durr and Myisha Hines Allen got their mojo back with scoring. The rest of the team also stepped up and handled the ball well. 8017 attendees mostly Card fans rocked the YUM center with their loudness and cheering on their team. Was pleased that there were a couple of new food vendors - especially the new sandwich vendor - much healthier alternative to fried foods. Please keep this food vendor around permanently! Go Lady CARDS! On to the Lexington Regionals!!
We enjoyed the event SO much!! Go Cards!! We are season ticket holders and look forward to next year!! Jeff Walz IS the greatest coach!

If you have not attended a Women’s college basketball game, make plans to attend a game this weekend. It will be a great time.

My seats were amazing and my daughter was just tickled pink as we were right behind Louie and the cheerleaders. And the Cards won. Members of my family also attended with me and we will be purchasing season tickets in this area if available.
U of L's Women's Basketball Team played Tennessee in the 2nd round at the KFC Yum Center. It was a great game played by two equally matched teams. The Yum Center is a great arena for basketball. It be awesome if Louisville were to get the regionals as well. Being a CARD fan, I routed for Louisville. People and the Media do not give women's basketball enough credit. Every game played is exciting. My only complaint is with the referees when they make bad calls (on both teams). Even knowing it would take longer for a game to be played, I believe when there is a questionable call, it should be reviewed for accuracy - similar to how it is done in football. I also feel that if referees consisting make wrong calls or show favoritism, they need to be held accountable.
It was an amazing time. Women's tournament time is very excited. The atmosphere was incredible, the venue is such an amazing venue for athletic competition. Will definitely be coming back next time it is at the Yum Center
This was the second time I'd purchased tickets to attend the Louisville venue for the women's NCAA tournament. The games were intense, the crowds were into the games and the experience was incredible. The quality of the play, officiating,and venue itself (KFC Yum Center) was everything I expected, and more.
I must say the 2nd round crowd was much louder than the 1st round crowd and it was totally awesome. Love watching women's basketball as everyone should give it a chance and see it live in person they won't be disappointed.

We had excellent seat mid court. Announcer was fantastic, games were great, fans were very nice.
the wrong team won, but other than that I had a great time.. as usual, concessions are way over priced... just drank water the second night..
Hard to believe the difference in spectator participation between men's and women's basketball at this level. We've attended both and have found: * Cost of attending Women's is a fraction of Men's * Much better seats are made available and provided at Women's events * Many of the female players have skills comparable to the men * If not for the disparity in size and strength, many female participants could compete with the men * The ladies are more than willing to mix it up and bang underneath * We found the overall entertainment value to be equal to or even better than the Men's
