NC Theatre Presents Disney's Newsies Tickets

The performance of Disney’s Newsies at Duke Energy Center did not disappoint. Professional actors, Broadway quality sets, engaging choreography! I’m still singing King of New York!

My family and I really enjoyed our night out for this musical. The performance was amazing!

Fantastic production! So enjoyable and the talent was fabulous!

We never arrive late (10 minutes) but upon arrival several theater personnel quietly and quickly got us to our seats. Thanks. Newsies was great and the theater had great sight lines and the audio was nice.

We enjoyed the show very much. Dancing was amazing and the singers were excellent. They could have had better sound from their microphones.

Being a Native New Yorker and seeing many Broadway shows I can say this was Broadway all the way!! Forgot for a minute I was in Raliegh

This was a typical musical from end to end. Songs were typical, vocals were very nice and some of the dancing was amazing. The acting and singing did not stand out, but there were a couple dancers that caught my wife's eye and mine. We compared our thoughts at intermission. There was nothing wrong with the performance, but the temperature in the venue was hot and distracting. I won't hesitate going back, but I will dress accordingly.

I loved every minute of this show! Awesome dancing and singing. I could feel the emotion from the characters. Orchestra was perfect.

I came with my sister and bonus daughter, neither of whom had ever seen the show live. My bonus daughter had been obsessed with the Broadway TV version and soundtrack, though. And this was my 4th time (all 3 previous times were on Broadway). We had an absolute blast and loved the slightly different take on an old favorite, not veering too much at all but having just enough difference in the characters, songs, and interpretations. Only criticism was that the European accents were a little off. Everything else we loved!

I was already excited to see this and when i found out there was some changes made i was even more excited! I wasn't disappointed at all!

Loved it!!! Newsies was entertaining for all ages while relevant today!

We saw Newsies on opening night and they did an amazing job! The singers were great and the dancing was so much fun!!! My daughters both did musical theater dance routines to Newsies songs so it was even more special!
