Because I had wanted to go to this game since I was a kid, there was not a lot that could have happened that would have kept it from being less than amazing. But there were a couple of things that really stunned me about the venue that I thought would have been easily remedied.
First was parking. I had a parking pass but once you got into the lot, you were on your own. There was no one instructing where open spaces were. AND there were tons of tailgaters that were taking up otherwise empty spaces with their lawn chairs and grills. AT some point, I'm thinking the folks that paid for parking should have had the priority. So, I"m glad that we got there as early as we did (2 hours) to drive around finding a spot!
Second, was walking to the stadium from the parking lot. Again, there was no one around to point the way. It looked obvious, but once you would walk through a gate or cross a road, there would inevitably be a line of barricades that would force you back to where you just came from. It was just very frustrating to get so close to the gates but then have to double way back again, when just having a few people posted or even signs that pointed the way.
The game itself was awesome and will gladly do it again and again and again!!! Just hope I can get better seats next time :-D
