I like the rodeo it good have been a lot better. The events were taking a little too long and BIGG ROBB was not it. The kids were the best if it hadn't been for those kids the rodeo would have been a disaster
Really great experience! I’ve come for quite some time but bought a couple people who came for their first time and they had a blast!

I usually attend the Rodeo yearly. My family usually comes from a long distance to see this. I must say say the years pass, its gets worse. Once a loved event, i can’t say I’ll buy another ticket. It was terrible all around. Unorganized, then missed over half of the show standing in line, the entertainment was awful. It surely was money wasted. This event usually takes place on y bday weekend, this year if will spend it on something worth the time and money.
The reason I choose this word is because Sir Charles please never invite him to the rodeo again and wihs someone could pass this along to all of the other vendors about his performance he's always intoxicated during his performance and never give his all Jeter Jones did a good job try to bring TK Soul or King George This year
My experience was great overall except the long lines entering the event.
The way you had to pay for parking was not explained upfront and the purse issue was uncalled for I agree with small purse but not see through. The long lines were awful, the performance was short and the band wasn’t there and all the drinks and food was extremely higher and staff was not trained to work concession stand work. Me and my husband along with friends come ever time there’s a rodeo here but this was the worst one we were very disappointed.
The rodeo was short and was interesting, had to stand in line for over 2 hrs to wait and get in and by the time we did get it, it had already started, the performances was thrash!!!! Doubt ill be going back
I have been to other rodeo and thought my first time to a black one would be different. I loved the music and the vibe. The young competitor were great! The show put on was great however, the show said 7pm-11pm and we were ready to stay that long and support. But when it was over by 930pm I feel like we didn't get tge full experience since it was my nephew first time and he and us expected more.
This was the worst show I have attended of the Black Rodeo. All the shows attended previously were great. I always looked forward to the band's performance along with the Rodeo activities. This show was one less to be desired. Definitely not worth the price, not to mention the hassle in trying to park. Paid for parking with no parking space. Had to park on the grass with risk of being towed. Bad experience.
The show well GOOD! The performance wasn’t that good too short and the the show it self ended wayyyyy to fast! Very disappointed this year. The rodeo is always good just too short and the performance was horrible
Loved the show. Being limited to walking made the stairs hard for me.Asked about other ways but no help given
The event was most definitely enjoyable and family friendly. The arena was slightly cold but I'm not sure if that was the venue's problem or because we sat near the bottom where the animals were bought it. The crowd and host were energetic. If you don't want to smell the livestock don't sit near the bottom. The line to get in was atrocious, wish more entrances were available.
Had an awesome time at the rodeo! Plenty of parking. Very nice arena! Easy to get to.
me and my dude really had a great time, good drinks, good food, fun times, laughs & dancing! The Rodeo was great good to see women doing these things in the world too! Black excellence i loved it
This was my first time and I drove over for hours to see the show and I was disappointed!! There was no stage for the performers but not only that Sir Charles seemed drunk and only sung 2 of his songs and a feature with Jeter, Jeter Jones did a good job and if he would have had a better set up I think his performance was good. Won’t go back again tho too much money spent for the Mediocre show.
They said the Grambling state university band would be there and they weren’t there
It was Terrible this year. Performance was terrible….couldn’t nobody rope nothing. Just a waste of money and time.
Lines were too long. There was 1 person trying to scan people in 2 different lines. Then you had to show tickets at the door and some of the people scanning devices were not working. When tickets were purchased it had GSU band listed as part of the entertainment. They were not there. Rodeo ended abruptly.
I enjoyed it but the seating was crazy, people was sitting in peoples seat. The special gust was last. Sir Charles didn’t perform long. I didn’t get to see the relay race. Took a long time at the door. Was expecting things to be a little different.. wasn’t so enjoyable and the tickets were high.
