Please come back to Houston! the show was very well organized, great selection of artists and music pieces to perform. love it and will surely come back again. I only wish the bar was open till the end of the show.
They had a late start and it lasted much longer than it was supposed to. I think it needs better organization. The conductor usually is full of life and is more fun and engaging. Having said that I’m very proud of their performance and it was fun this is constructive criticism.
Wonderful show by very talented musicians and most talented singers.
Latest show in Houston, Great musicians, Terrible music selection.
Loved the conductor. Very energetic and enthusiastic. Love the company and community out reach. Excellent music and vocals. Very entertaining. Definitely will go again.
I’ll keep this short. First time attending anything like this and I LOVED it. I was born n raised in MI but my parents are from the Middle East. I would deff attend NAO events in the future. Oh and the maestro, Michael Ibrahim, was phenomenal and multi talented..he made the night!!
Great show, very fun, lots of energy. I loved the mix of traditional and new music. The audience loves to clap along and shout encouragement at the performers, very unique concert experience!
I have been a lover of Arab music for over twenty years now, and have been wanting to see the National Arab Orchestra since they began six years ago. I couldn't have been happier with their concert, it was beyond anything I expected. The fusion with the jazz ensemble was off the charts!! I haven't seen anything that good since Robert Plant and Jimmy Page played at Market Square Arena in 1995 with an Egyptian orchestra led by Hossam Ramzy on one side of the stage, and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on the other side. This is the start of something really phenomenal, as the next show on September 19 will be with the Detroit Symphony!! It was my first time to see the guest singer, and I was so humbled by Salah Kurdi's singing, I can see why he is so loved by many. I can't wait to see the great things coming to the NAO, and thank you so much for your hard work!!
very entertaining show. all musicians were spectacular especially the maestro michael ibrahim
