A new classical crossover star is born!

by JDAmadeus on 11/20/12Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

Nathan Pacheco... remember his name cause I believe and hope we will be hearing a lot more from this amazing tenor. I attended his concert on Saturday, November 17th at Parker Playhouse and was blown away. He can not only SING but what a great personality too. I first heard his voice when he performed with the Yanni "Voices" tour. He just released a new CD a couple weeks ago and I believe he sounded even better in person then he did on the CD. Congratulations Nathan! Wishing you much sucess and looking forward to many future recordings and live performances.

    acoustics

by SashS on 11/18/12Balboa Theatre - San Diego

There were some awkward downtime moments in the concert. Nathan is handsome and has a lovely personality but he needs to work on his banter. His orchestra members were top-notch. I wish he had sung some of the songs he became popular for. Balboa Theater, although lovely, is not made for acoustics from the stage. Tinny sounds with some reverb. Also, very loud for such a small-ish venue.

    great...

by Barbtom on 11/17/12Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Nathan Pacheco is an amazing artist, almost transports the listener {me/us} with his voice; love the interaction with the audience; only thing missing is any kind of leaflet/brochure/ print-out at the event which would offer some info on this artist. Nothing to save as a tiny souvenir, and that was disappointing and unusual. All other concerts we've attended have had at least a minimal leaflet with artist bio, etc. Only other comment is that the parking really isn't free, although it's advertised as such...this needs to be FIXED at the theatre end, is deceptive & a nuisance. All else ~ highly recommended!!

    Just a wonderful concert!

by Owlman on 11/17/12Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I didn't totally know what to expect from this concert, since the artist is so relatively new to the performance scene. Our group was very pleasantly surprised that the evening wasn't just good, it was really outstanding. The song choices were excellent--showing a wide-ranging ability to bridge different genres with equal command. Nathan's conversations with the audience lent a really personal and genuine connection to the audience. His musicians are extraordinarily talented, especially his pianist producer/conducer/composer, Leo-Z, and the man who played the Irish pipes and recorder, Eric Rigler. The concert overall was crafted excellently and left us feeling warm, entertained, and wanting more.

    Nathan Pacheco is a Gem!

by Essadia on 11/17/12Balboa Theatre - San Diego

What a great show! From classical to pop to folk and a great personality. Nathan is certainly an undiscovered talent although that is slowly changing...with one big breakout I can see him headlining a TV show or much bigger event. Don't miss him!

    Pacheco Rocks It!

by LocalJoe on 11/17/12Balboa Theatre - San Diego

An exceptional performance that I would pay 4X over to see again - and soon! Beyond his superb vocal talent was his remarkable way with the audience... Teaching them about the songs he performs in a way that enfolds them into his performance. His apparent kind and gracious personality shines through, making the experience refreshing and unique. To see this great vocalist find success in his career will be like watching a gladiator triumph and the nice guy win it all. Cheers to Nathan Pacheco!
