Exceptional
by SCropsey on 6/12/12Library of Congress - WashingtonMr. Hakhnazaryan's playing is lyrical, expressive, and remarkably flexible. His phrasing feels as though he channels the composer's intent. His technique as a cellist is as liquid as a bow hand that appears to have no bones. The audience was understandably very enthusiastic and I believe that a wider audience would have been no less appreciative. I look forward to hearing him play Haydn or Boccherini with a distinguished orchestra and Bach solo.
