  • Classic evening.

    by davestwin7 on 10/13/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

I forgot how good the movie Napoleon Dynamite was. After watching it, having the characters Napoleon, Pedro and Uncle Rico providing stories behind the movie was just magnificent.

  • Best time ever!

by So much fun on 10/12/25Rating: 5 out of 5

We had the meet & greet before the show. All three were very friendly, gave hugs and asked our names. They genuinely seemed delighted to meet their fans. It was fun enjoying the movie with an auditorium of fans who love the movie as much as we do. They put on a very fun panel after the movie talking about the movie, taking questions and audience participation. If you can go, do it! It was seriously the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

  • Wonderful.

by Roxanne on 9/24/25Ulster Performing Arts Center - KingstonRating: 5 out of 5

It was a wonderful, pleasant, experience, so glad there was a very entertaining Q and A afterwards, audience participation, wish it went on a little longer, and meet the actors afterwards. I enjoyed myself.

  • Great Night - Could've Been Better

by Happy Fan on 9/22/25Knoxville Civic Auditorium - KnoxvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The night began with the movie playing without any commentary from John Heder and friends. It was fun watching the movie with a group of ND fans. When Heder and friends finally came out following the movie, you could tell very little thought had been put into what they were going to say or do. That made things spontaneous, but it also felt a little underwhelming. Overall a great night that I would definitely do again.

  • Had a GREAT TIME!

by Ironman on 9/21/25Lexington Opera House - LexingtonRating: 5 out of 5

When I originally bought tickets to see Napoleon Dynamite Live I thought we were going to see a play. It turned out to be a screening of the film followed by three of the original actors (Napoleon, Pedro, and Uncle Rico) coming up on stage and giving a behind the scenes look at how they were selected for the film. They did a Q&A with audience and had a few people come up on stage. They also re-enacted a couple scenes. It was HILARIOUS! My wife and I had a great time. The Lexington Opera House is a great venue. Very nice and clean, and the staff are very professional.

  • A must for fans and newbies

by SWB on 6/1/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

I did the meet-and-greet. They could not have been nicer and took a great professional photo keepsake. The screening was a ton of fun and interaction with the audience was phenomenal. This is a great, great way to spend the evening. Highly recommended!

  • Such a good time!

    by ntx23 on 5/27/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

What a fun evening! Watching "Napoleon Dynamite"on a big screen was great, but the best part was seeing the great affection Jon Heder, Efran Ramirez and Jon Gries still have for the movie 20 years after it debuted. They were having fun up on stage and so were we in the audience. Also, Capital One Hall is a first-rate theater!

  • Be part of the scene

by Liger on 5/26/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent connection between the actors and the audience. No time or reason to be starstruck. Talk with them as they come into the audience for questions and accept an invite to come on stage.

  • So fun!

by Moxy on 5/26/25Capital One Hall - TysonsRating: 5 out of 5

I didn't see the movie in the theater when it came out so experiencing it with a bunch of fans was extra special. Loved the whole vibe of the night with Q&A, music, dancing, and classic shenanigans!

  • I voted for Pedro

by Loretta on 12/9/24Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds New Buffalo - New BuffaloRating: 4 out of 5

Watching the movie was once again hilarious. Listening to how the movie was put together was very interesting to hear. Napoleon, Pedro and Uncle Rico were great to see live and answer questions. Tina the llama wasn’t there but a very similar resemblance was. It was unfortunate they were not available to take pictures with. Had an all around great time! If you come to see them make sure you have your movie quotes memorized!!! You may win a cool prize!

What an awesome time my son and I had last night. Getting to meet Tina, watching the movie and then the hilarious time spent with the beloved cast members. They were so engaging, and funny as can be. Thank you for such a unique experience.

They couldn’t have been more gracious with their time for the VIP Meet & Greet! Such nice guys! Watching the film with so many other fans and laughing together was SO much fun. The Q&A session was something to remember and VERY engaging and entertaining. Napoleon Dynamite Live is a must see show if you love the film! Don’t miss out on all the fun!

  • Great show

by Suz18 on 11/11/24Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

If you are a Napoleon Dynamite fan, you must get tickets for the show. My daughter and I shared many laughs watching the movie on a large screen with a devoted fan base. After the movie, Jon Heder shows he is a lively entertainer who enlists the support of the actors who played Pedro and Uncle Rico. I learned some fun facts about the making of this low budget film. Dress like a character and you might be called on to participate. Get ready to laugh!

  • Great Q&A and meet & greet

by Dtd on 11/11/24Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

We paid extra for the meet & greet. The cast was great- super friendly. The Q&A was really good, too. They were totally engaged and gave a bunch of behind the scenes stories.

  • Sweet

by kel on 11/11/24Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

This show was fantastic! It was great watch the movie and see the actors. Hearing about the making of the movie was so interesting, they did an excellent job with the limited budget they described. The stars were just as funny in real life as they were in the movie! The audience participation was super fun to watch too. I have never been to a show like this but I highly recommend the experience. We had a great time!

  • AMAZING

by Rstar on 11/11/24Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

This was such an amazing experience. Magical. My daughter said it might have been the best night of her life. Getting a chance to meet actors from her favorite movie was amazing. Watching the movie with people who also loved it was fun. And, the post-movie Q&A with the actors was so fun. It really made me appreciate how unique the movie is.

  • Fun & Festive Night!

by Diane on 11/11/24Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great event. Getting to rewatch the movie followed by hearing about it's creation story was something I will never forget. It was fantastic seeing three of the cast members 20 years later and it was an intimate setting and family friendly-rare for comedy! Just plain fun, camp, quirky, and exactly what I would have expected. Thank you North Shore Performing Arts for making it happen!!
