This concert was spectacular. This young and talented group of Quebec musicians brings folk music into mainstream. Their level of talent and amazing energy is worth seeing!
We drove from Montreal to see Jill Barber. She gave a very good show. Great narrative between songs and perfect voice.
It was a very good show, good musicians and especially the black woman at the backing vocal. I had tears in my eyes when she sang at the graet gig in the sky. Awesome.
Third time seeing on of these shows. Absolutely perfect. Constantly checking to see what Classic Albums are coming to Ottawa next.
Tiny Horse was very good and different. I would have loved to see their setting have the fence post and rails with the jug of Lemonade sitting on it when they sang Pink Lemonade. I had one unused ticket with insurance and am unclear as how to get reimbursed

Despite a bit of panic - we were not able to print our tickets as per instructions on the website - we found the personal courteous and kind, and really enjoyed our evening. In a very intimate concert hall, Carine Au Micro carried us with her voice, through time and space. Her songs in Mina (spoken in Benin and Togo) and Swahili (from Southern and Eastern Africa) amazed the multiethnic and multicultural audience that attended the show. What a night! Most people ended up dancing along the powerful voice, the jazzy keys of David the pianist and the rythmic water drums of Noël. A night to remember, an event to recreate!
I went to see Garnet Rogers and as a long-time follower was not disappointed...he had new material and was, as always, very engaging, deserving of a Canadian folk icon. I had never seen Connie Kaldor before but she and her family, especially her two sons, were also very entertaining.
