Hello, the family (including Grandparent and 3 yr old grandson) were disappointed. The piano playing was beautiful but the costumes and acting was disappointing. The costumes were too abstract for young children especially when at very least a costume elephant trunk would have made it so much more interesting and relatable for youngsters. There were parts of the story, eg. the wedding and coronation which required a lot of talking but not much relatable action esp at the end of a 45 minute presentation when the kids were getting restless. All this being said, please continue to put on performances for the 3 to 7 age category so families can present these early education opportunities for our children and ensure that they grow up to be avid NAC audience members.

It wasn’t quite what I was expecting... I thought there was going to be some sort of story, where music was used instead of the noise of talking, walking, etc. What it turned out to be was a series of random imagination moments between 2 actors that had noise makers thrown in. This was not worth the $50 it cost us for a family of 4. It also was only half an hour in length. Too much $$ for too little of a performance.
