No Souvenirs, 1.5 Hour Wait at Entrance

by Ron685 on 10/19/10The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

First, there was a scheduling error that had everyone waiting from 4:30 - 5:00 for a gate that was supposed to open at 5 but didn't until almost 6:30. I had two excited 13 year olds with me that were hoping for maybe an autograph, and at least a souvenir stand, neither were available for an event that cost (on the cheap end) $162 plus a 120 mile round trip. There should have been more info on the website indicating no souvenirs, no autographs, or at least a schedule of when / where these would be available! Concert sucked. Volume so loud you couldn't hear the music! Also at the Hardrock if you end up in the balcony don't plan on drinking anything before because you simply cannot get out of your seat to use the restrooms.

    Skate Finals & N.E.R.D.

by Kirin1 on 10/17/10The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I bought these tix for my bf's bday. He liked it a lot. The skate finals were pretty cool. I like how close we were to the course. N.E.R.D. was sick. They pumped up the crowd :] Me my bf's only complaint is that they started hella late. We were suppose to go in at 5pm and we didn't go in until like 630ish. They should have put the times of when the show actually starts on the ticket.

    Staaaaaaar Traaaack!!

by MzDezy on 5/2/10Towson University - Towson

Another great show by NERD!! I'm a fan and have been to a lot of shows in many states. I'm never left disappointed. Even if you don't know a single word to any of the songs they're so interactive/energetic you'll have fun!

    NERD

by Chongo32 on 8/3/09The Warfield - San Francisco

It felt like Pharrell was "phoning" in the beginning of the performance. But then, he warmed up and the show got better. I was surprised and a little upset to see that the venue was not sold out, maybe that had something to with the mood of the performers? Overall, it was a great show.

    Intimate venue, great show

by NERDFan86 on 8/3/09The Warfield - San Francisco

The Warfield is an awesome little theater on Market Street in San Francisco and lucky for me the tickets were mostly standing room only; I got there around 8:15 pm for the 9 pm show time and walked right up to will call and then right inside the venue and was pretty dang near front row center. The opening act was okay, Black Eyed Peas-ish and the female vocalist in the group reminded me of a less cool Fergie but I guess they were better than I expected. I was expecting Clipse but found out at the venue that he wasn't gonna be there. Anyways, N.E.R.D. was awesome, they played for a little over an hour (which I felt coulda been longer) and they always bring a ton of energy to their shows. They don't really ever sing too many mellow songs but the ones they do sing (ie Maybe) are pretty hard core; at several moments during the show huge male fans essentially created a mosh pit and I kinda feared for my life. But that's what you get with N.E.R.D., they aren't super polished but they don't have to be. For a number of songs, they pulled up a ton of guys from the audience and then later a ton of females (pretty much anyone in the front who wanted to go up) for a few more songs. I only wish that they had played more of their older stuff (a lot of my favorites were condensed into a medley of brief clips of older songs) but I guess I can't really complain, they do have a new cd to promote. And, they announced that they are working on their next. Overall a great value for the price, especially for the true N*E*R*D* fan who knows all their stuff.

    N*E*R*D Seeing sounds

by komagnetic on 8/3/09The Warfield - San Francisco

Great musicians, Killer Band, Pharrell Williams knows how to command the stage and move the crowd. The Crowd energy was so positive and really heightened the entire show before it started. The only bad thing was the vocals were hard to hear down in the GA pit.

    N.E.R.D IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

by Kirstielove on 8/1/09The Warfield - San Francisco

I have never been to one of their concerts but friends of mine who have went have said they put on an amazing performance. This was no lie at all..the venue was at the warfield which was just a beautiful theater. I Wish I would have known it was right in downtown in sf then I could have taken bart. Nerd really knows how to put on a show they had the crowd jumping and screaming. They didnt play a few of my favorite songs but the ones they did perform have easily become new favorite. If you have yet to see one of their shows you have got to go. Its an eye opening experience.

    N*E*R*D was great, but...

by NORIVAL on 8/1/09The Warfield - San Francisco

N*E*R*D was great, but I was also looking forward to seeing the Clipse who were supposed to be the opening act. The Clipse did NOT show up!!! The lineup was changed the day of the show and I was extremely disappointed. I would not have purchased the tickets had I known the Clipse were not going to be there. It was very frustrating.

by ilovemusicc on 7/31/09The Warfield - San Francisco

I think this was their best set yet. The energy in the room was extremely high and everyone was hyped. NERD put on a dope show. Not a dull moment.
