About

My Chemical Romance are a rock band composed of lead vocalist Gerard Way, bassist Mikey Way and guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero. Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, MCR have become highly influential for their blend of rock, pop-punk and emo music along with unflinchingly open lyrics and theatrical live performances. Beginning with 2002’s I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, MCR have released four studio albums, two live recordings and three compilations. The band unveiled their major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004 behind their first charting singles, “I'm Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “The Ghost of You.” In 2006, MCR’s third album The Black Parade reached a career-high No. 2 on the Billboard 200, while lead single “Welcome to the Black Parade” peaked at No. 9 on the Hot 100. After touring 2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, MCR did not perform together again until 2019, followed by a reunion world tour between 2022 and 2023. The band headlined Las Vegas’ When We Were Young Festival in 2024. In 2025, My Chemical Romance embarked on a tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their landmark third studio album, The Black Parade.

PURE THEATRE. I’ve been an MCR fan since middle school, but never got the chance to see them as a lil emo youth. Now as an adult and seeing them a second time, I can only imagine that I was missing an incredible level of drama & artistry. Listening to MCR is just not enough; seeing MCR live is the purest way to experience the sheer madness cooking in their heads. 100/10!

  • Metlife was phenomenal.

by Ajr on 8/11/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I've never been too fond of G's live voice, i was not at all fond of paying over $300 to sit in a sit pretty far back. But to say they didnt put on a show worth the money would be a straight lie, the in between set acoustic was mature..had a fine wine sense & FELT like yes this is a $300 show to me. G sang way better than in the past, kept an eye for over 20 years n im definitely very suprised to put em as 1 of my fav shows of all time. They arent my fav band, but 1 ive spent 20 odd years listenin to

  • My Chemicsl Romance

by Dee on 8/8/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent show. Especially during the second part. The show became more interactive and intimate with them switching stages. MCR delivered a doge of nostalgia of past hits along with the energy of what’s to come in the future. Must see show.

  • WOWWWWW

if i could see them a million times, i 100% would. it really felt like home in that stadium. i love mcr so much

  • The Theatre Kids do it again

by Chase on 8/7/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Once more, MCR puts on a *killer* show. Multiple kills even, as we saw during the experience. Garbage was a fantastic opener and they absolutely killed it. I loved listening to their popular songs like Paranoid. MCR never disappoints, a mixture of killer live music and ostentatious displays of thematic art. The entire concert is an experience front to back, including my favorite part, the dictator hand cam. Their second set was extremely high energy and I loved being so close. The only thing I disliked about this concert was that the venue staff were rather rude and trying their hardest to shepherd out all the fans as soon as the final song was over. The merch line was disrupted multiple times but I stayed firm until I was allowed to finish.

It was an awesome show! Gerard Way really performed for the audience and had practically everyone on their feet!

  • Fantastic Show, solid

by slpybeartx on 8/7/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The 1st half “The Black Parade Lives” show was incredible. The new storyline, added parts, etc was great and the band left nothing behind in their performance. Second half on the B Stage was more intimate and just as intense. Greatest hits were played plus my son’s favorite song, the B Side “Kill All Your Friends”. Well worth it!

  • One of the best to ever do it

by Meghan on 8/6/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

They are with out a doubt one of the greatest bands to ever play and I will always love and support for as long as they choose to create

  • Phenomenal!

    by L.D. on 8/6/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was beyond my expectations. MCR really put on a show and most people in our area were on their feet the entire time. The baseball stadium is not ideal acoustics for live music but that has nothing to do with the band or their performance. I would see them again and again!

  • Best concert I’ve ever been to

by Rklvr on 8/6/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I wanted to see MCR and thought I missed my chance. When I saw the tour announcement I was so excited and bought the tickets right then and there. Seeing them live was an amazing thought and emotionally provoking experience. It was theatrical, punk, and nostalgic. Gerard is a true vocalist and the band really shone bright. I enjoyed the orchestral aspects as well. Definitely a must attend!

  • I’d Go Again in a Heartbeat.

by Jaxx on 8/6/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

My Chemical Romance delivered an unforgettable performance from start to finish. The energy was electric, the crowd was fully alive, and every song hit with intensity and emotion. The setlist struck a perfect balance between nostalgia and raw power, with seamless transitions and stunning visuals to match. The band’s presence was magnetic, and it was clear how much they care about their fans. Everything from the lighting to the sound quality was top-tier.

  • Wish They'd Come Back

  • Such an amazing time!!

by dirk on 8/6/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Just such an amazing time to be had at a My Chemical Romance concert, no matter where you are in the room :) Each of the band members have so much charisma and charm and are very captivating, making it hard to look away. Especially in their current North America tour, bringing more life to an almost 20 year old album and having fun with it as well. Long live the Black Parade!

  • The Black Parade Will Never Die

    by luna107 on 8/5/25Globe Life Field - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Incredible stage design and presence, on both the main stage and B stage. They still sound just as good as when the music was recorded. Definitely a tour to remember!

  • Best Experience Ever
