I've waited over 25 years to see these guys in concert, and they did NOT disappoint. Absolutely incredible.
One of my all-time fave bands and they did not disappoint! The energy was fantastic and they played all of our favorite songs. Very cool venue as well. What a great experience!
Couldn't have asked for a better first MxPx show! A night I will never forget! Met a lot of great people! Pokinatcha Pink for life!
Five Iron Frenzy opened and they were incredible! High energy, great music, and everybody was dancing! Then after a short break MxPx came out to impress us all with their amazing stage presence. They just played one killer song after another! The people at the merchandise tables were extremely courteous and professional. I will definitely go see them again and you should just go see them!
It's always a great time when you get to see your favorite band. Seen MxPx three times now, and they have never disappointed. Playing all my favorite songs while I'm going crazy in the pit. Was a great show, hands down, and I can't wait to see them again.
Great show, great venue, intimate and close up, the mosh pit was wild! Such a good time! Can't till they do it again next year!
It was a super packed house the circle pit was big. It got huge at one point I had so much fun !!! I’m a little bit older now i’m in my mid-30s I didn’t expect to have that kind of energy but I was having so much fun slam dancing because people were doing it the right way nobody was trying to hurt each other. The vibe was so mellow and tuns of fun I crowd surfed twice. I’ve seen MxPx a lot and this was a really fun show probably top 5. ☠️😆☠️
Huge fan of mxpx have been for 16 years . I’ve attended about 20 concerts of theirs and HOB events as well. This venue was completely oversold . Couldn’t move an inch. Reeked of pot everywhere. Upstairs and a specialty area were roped off for vip... for an extra $150... would have liked to enjoy the concert but it was too difficult
OMG, I had never enjoyed a sold out event so much. The first band Rehasher was excellent. Then there was a great show of The Ataris and finally it was Mxpx's turn, where the whole event hall ended up losing its head with them, the 3 bands were excellently great. As a bonus, at the end of the show we were able to meet Mxpx, take pictures with them and have us sign things. The only thing I didn't like was that the line for the merch was very long and it took a long time to move forward. Outside of that everything was perfect
MxPx always puts on a great show. Unwritten Law was a cherry on top.
Rehasher, and Unwritten Law, were amazing. Unfortunately the show started over an hour and half late. We stood in front of the stage with no information about what was going on. We only got to see one song from MXPX due to parking in NYC. If we stayed for the set our car would have been locked in until the following day. Had we been informed we could have moved to another garage.
This show was fantastic! The guys still sound great and you couldn’t have asked for a better set list. Mike told a story about what it took for them to make the show (due to some canceled flights). Their dedication to their fans makes me love them even more!!
Awesome time. There shows are always fun to rock out to them.
First time seeing mxpx perform and they were amazing. I would go back to see them when they come back to the nyc area. Stacked show with Allister and Zebrahead
Amazing show. Avalanche and MxPx killed it. I've seen MxPx a dozen times and this could be the best of the bunch. Thanks guys for 20 rad years.
Fantastic show, as always! Come Back to NYC soon!!
The show was AMAZING!!!!!! But I expect nothing less then amazing from the three boys from Bremerton.
I am thrilled to have been able to be a part of history and see the Yuri retirement show! It was most epic. I haven't seen MxPx live in almost 10 years and it was a great show to come back to them with. Although, I wish they would have picked a different venue. I understand why they chose this one. It's small, makes for a more intimate show, etc. But security there is nuts. You are not allowed to job, mosh, or move. If you manage to bump someone else and they see you, they remove you. Within 20 minutes of the show starting, at least 15 people were drug out by the Fun Police. What's a punk show with no pit?
There are only a few chances in a band's career if they're lucky to have survived for 18 years, that they'll get the chance and following to be able to play an entire album in one show. This was one of those moments, and I was there to be able to make history with a band that has been with me for the better half of my life. Given this was a retirement party for Yuri Ruley, the drummer, they showed no signs of slowing down to let him retire. Life In General was one of my favorite albums and they rocked through every song, playing some live for the first time and ending the show with a handful of songs from every album.
