    an amazing event

by cannotwalk55 on 1/31/14Nashville Municipal Auditorium - Nashville

if you told me 5 years ago you can see Duane Eddy and Peter Frampton on the same bill would say it wouldn't happen in NYC. But on Jan.28,2014 in Nashville those 2 plus Will Lee, Randy Bachman, Corky O'Dell , Kenny Wayne Shepard with Double Trouble and probably the coolest guitar slinger in town Jim Capps tore the roof off the auditorium in a show that both an induction and a revelation of why God created Nashville. This was the greatest show I ever saw.

    Nashvillians should support the MHOF!

by Notary1 on 1/31/14Nashville Municipal Auditorium - Nashville

It was a great night with lots of music history. It was great to learn about all the inductees. Some big names like Don Felder, Oak Ridge Boys were great to see. Nashville is lucky to have Rockabilly legend Brenda Lee, who is a Woodbine resident! The four hour event was a bit long not to have an intermission. Glad to see the Municipal Auditorium being saved, after it's historical fifty plus year history. I think Will Lee & Barbara Mandrell seemed to enjoy dancing to the music together! Corki Casey O'Dell said it was the greatest night of her life! It was also interesting to hear Curb record Mike Curb talk about how he has always treated people and has always given back half of his business profits.

    Randy Bachman was awsome

by Barntop on 1/31/14Nashville Municipal Auditorium - Nashville

It was a joy to see those great musicians being inducted, as well as hearing from the celebrities who inducted them. I enjoyed the format of the show, and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. It was great to hear Peter Frampton do his signature song, "Feel like I do". The guitar show by Randy Bachman was totally awesome. As a long time fan of the Oak Ridge Boys, their part of the show was a sheer pleasure, as well. Kenney Wayne Shepard had my wife and me rocking out to his Stevie Ray Vaughn tribute. Hearing Duane Eddy's unique guitar had me wishing that some of my friends and relatives could have been there to re-live those wonderful sounds. I expected a good show, but this exceeded all my expectations. Great job, guys and gals.
