No so Much Music from London's West End Theatre
by HomeRentalPro on 6/25/12Chastain Park Amphitheatre ASO - AtlantaWas extremely disappointed in the selections. For example, where was only one song from Phantom! The entire second act was music from America - from the 50's through the 80's, save for their ABBA set from Mama Mia (which DID NOT include Dancing Queen)! It was songs from Grease, Dirty Dancing and they made a huge deal about singing Stand By Me. Really, London's West End Theatre??? The singers were capable and the band was small and unimpressive. Total of 8 in the band and 4 singers. The way it was advertised, it left the consumer with the impression that it was going to be like "A Grand Night for Singing". That show was a full compilation of songs from American Musicals from Gershwin to Rogers & Hammerstein. No such luck here. Save you money and just buy the songs you want to hear from London's West End Theatre on iTunes!
