    Mushroomhead brought the house down!!!!!!

by rustbelt on 4/3/10Altar Bar - Pittsburgh

Thank God only 3 openers to get through. Ventura was the best of 3( a mushroomhead type ) MUSHROOMHEAD better than ever. A solid packed show featuring 2 singers sparring melodic metal and metal rap with infusions of death metal. The bass is the engulfing throb that has everything to do with rolling the crowd. With ease bassist Pig Benis swayed the pitsters through another climatic event of the experience known as MUSHRooMhEAD. You have to slap yourself when you realize the sheer musical talent in front of you. Behind masks and chilling costumes of bizzare horror is the best kept secret of this band. As you wittness musical genius in Steve Feltons drums. Master guitars and a keyboard player like none other you are caught up in the high energy and excitement. You have to be able to SEE them to truely apperciate the whole thing known as MUSHROOMHEAD. If they are coming to your part of the world go and see them. I have NEVER spent a better 20 bucks on a band in my life. I will go again and again . The venue was a good place to see them and there are great places to see Mushroomhead. It dosnt matter. It's one of those things that emits so much of it's own personality and shape that you dont care where you are seeing. as long as it provides good areas to view them from because as I said YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM. All of it, The songs, the sound, the crowd, the people smiling and having a really good time. CAUTION It can be addicting. Long after the lights are down and the doors close I can still hear the chants of Mushroomhead, Mushroomhead, Mushroomhead

    not thrilled with mushroomhead

by imahappygirl on 12/19/09Peabody's Downunder - Cleveland

Too many people crowded into a small space, but that was expected. I was looking forward to an award winning performance from mushroomhead and instead they only played a few songs. Had to stand around and wait through about 5 other bands play about 6 songs each before the actual band I paid to see came on, and then It was so crowded I couldn't see them at all, so I was disappointed. I don't think you should have to wait until midnight for the show you paid for.. one maybe even two openers would have been fine, but five is a bit frustrating. The few songs that mushroomhead played were awesome, but by then I was pissed off.

    Well worth the late night

    by hedfan1 on 11/4/09Jaxx Nightclub - Springfield

the Head to (hed) tour was incredible. The opening bands put on a great show! The only down fall of the bands the the first one to hit the stage. They were an in house Jaxx band and they set the whole night off to late. I had a number of friends that left the show after ony a song or two by (hed) because it was getting to late and they needed to be to work in the early morning. The stage set up for (hed) also took to long. This show needs to start a bit earlier if they plan on adding more sets to the previously listed show. I did not get home until 2:00 a.m. I had to be to work by 8:00 am the next day so I was hurting. Besides the time, the show it's self was amazing! I have been a Mushroomhead and (hed) fan since 99' and even tho this was my 3 time seeing Mushroom and maybe my 21st time seeing (hed) they have yet to dissapoint! (more (hed) all the time) The show with (hed only a couple weeks ago was also a good show by (hed) the previous sets were awful, IMO. None of the opening acts complimented (hed)'s sound what so ever so I came when (hed) took the stage at 10 and enjoyed the show!

Amazing show. Mushroomhead had an amazing stage presence that just blow me away. The ambiance of the stage with the fog made it seem so surreal. Other great acts were: Straight Line Stitch, Tenefly Viper, Soulbound, and Ventana.

    Muzhroomhead

    by Jazzmine1111111 on 11/1/09Agora Theatre & Ballroom - Cleveland

Compared to last year the opening bands were not as good. Ventana was the first group to get the audience going. I missed the MC that they had last year. It kinda helped to introduce the bands amd get the audience going. I also missed the costume contest that they did last year as well. I did not see Firestrom nor Hanzel and Gretel that was scheduled to be there. Foos(? spelling) was vastly entertaining. But.... MUSHROOHEAD ROCKED!!!! They were spectacular as always and this is the seventh time that I saw them. Keep it up guys!!!
