Mushroomhead brought the house down!!!!!!
by rustbelt on 4/3/10Altar Bar - PittsburghThank God only 3 openers to get through. Ventura was the best of 3( a mushroomhead type ) MUSHROOMHEAD better than ever. A solid packed show featuring 2 singers sparring melodic metal and metal rap with infusions of death metal. The bass is the engulfing throb that has everything to do with rolling the crowd. With ease bassist Pig Benis swayed the pitsters through another climatic event of the experience known as MUSHRooMhEAD. You have to slap yourself when you realize the sheer musical talent in front of you. Behind masks and chilling costumes of bizzare horror is the best kept secret of this band. As you wittness musical genius in Steve Feltons drums. Master guitars and a keyboard player like none other you are caught up in the high energy and excitement. You have to be able to SEE them to truely apperciate the whole thing known as MUSHROOMHEAD. If they are coming to your part of the world go and see them. I have NEVER spent a better 20 bucks on a band in my life. I will go again and again . The venue was a good place to see them and there are great places to see Mushroomhead. It dosnt matter. It's one of those things that emits so much of it's own personality and shape that you dont care where you are seeing. as long as it provides good areas to view them from because as I said YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM. All of it, The songs, the sound, the crowd, the people smiling and having a really good time. CAUTION It can be addicting. Long after the lights are down and the doors close I can still hear the chants of Mushroomhead, Mushroomhead, Mushroomhead
