About

Muscadine Bloodline in Concert

The country duo Muscadine Bloodline are masters of dynamics. They can belt out a big, bold, country-rocking anthem like "Movin' On" one minute, and the next they can bring things down to a whisper with a vulnerable, soul-baring ballad like "Enemy."

Whether they're getting the audience worked up to a fever pitch with a raucous roof-raiser or letting things simmer, there's always one common thread running through every Muscadine Bloodline performance. The organically intertwined vocals of Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton are at the center of the Alabama duo's sound, as they blend country, rock, pop, and R&B influences for a style that sets itself apart in the modern country scene, stopping folks in their tracks and commanding undivided attention.

Muscadine Bloodline Background

Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton both hail from Mobile, Alabama, where they had solo careers before making the move to Nashville. Like so many great artists before them, the pair decided to forge a new country career in Music City, joining forces under the Muscadine Bloodline banner in 2016.

It didn't take long for the duo to make themselves known, releasing a string of singles and a self-titled debut EP the next year, followed by the EP Movin' On in 2018. From the beginning, it was clear that Muncaster and Stanton's seamless vocal blend was the most striking element of the Muscadine Bloodline sound, mixing downhome country twang with a sweet soulfulness.

Muncaster and Stanton's backgrounds include everything from rock 'n' roll to rap, and the MB repertoire ended up being just as eclectic. In addition to a catalog of original tunes ranging from the anthemic to the angelic, Muscadine Bloodline has been known to bust out cover tunes that run the gamut — from the George Jones honky-tonk chestnut "White Lightning" to The Steve Miller Band's 1970s classic-rock standard "The Joker."

Whether they're singing their songs in a roadhouse atmosphere or gracing the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, where they appeared for the first time in 2018, Muncaster and Stanton know how to make their music connect.

I've been waiting for Muscadine Bloodline to come to California since I first started listening to them in 2020 - and they did not disappoint! Such an amazing show and so much talent. Will be on the edge of my seat until the next time they play here :)

  • Bands were awesome, venue was too toasty

by Ccomfort on 6/6/23The Bluestone - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

It was in the 90s in Columbus. The venue said free parking on the website, but charged me 10.00 to park. The venue seemed cooler than outside at the start and I got there right before the doors opened. Got inside. 1 row away from the gate. Asked another patron if they were selling bottled water and was told no, only soda and alcohol. It got warm inside really fast. I'm not sure exactly when, but security at the front started handing water bottles out. Thank goodness, I'm sure a few people were close to passing out. Taylor Hunnicutt was amazing and funny, and Muscadine Bloodline did not disappoint. Besides the temperature in the venue, it was worth the ride from Niagara Falls NY. I'd love to see them again!

  • Great concert!!

by Hannah on 4/5/23Rating: 5 out of 5

They truly put on a fantastic show. Lots of interaction with the crowd, and they even stayed late to meet the fans! They sound great live and are very energetic on stage. I’ve been to a lot of bigger concerts from bigger artists, but this one might have taken the cake for best concert I’ve been to

  • Not the best

by Blondie on 3/27/23Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - SpartanburgRating: 2 out of 5

The venue didn't seem to have the best sound for what we are use to when attending a concert. Love Muscadine Bloodline but the venue was not the best experience for my crew.

  • Great show at a great venue -

by Candy on 3/6/23The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time seeing Muscadine Bloodline and our first time at the Underground. The show was amazing and we can't wait to see them again. It was high energy from start to finish and it was awesome to see them live. The venue was also really nice. I was impressed with how clean and organized everything was. It was easy to get into the venue, well-staffed at the bar areas and the bathrooms were ample and clean. Next time we may opt for VIP tickets just so we can have the option to sit. Overall a great show and a wonderful experience!

  • Muscadine Bloodline Was Amazing!

by Forever a Porch Swing Angel on 3/6/23The Underground - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was the perfect size for an intimate and amazing concert. It seemed like no matter where you were in the venue you could easily see the stage and be apart of it. Muscadine Bloodline nailed it and had a great mix of songs with new, old and a few covers, can't wait to see them again.

Absolutely amazing concert.. the opening band was amazing, Muscadine was so much better than I could’ve ever expected. It was my 18th Birthday and I ended up getting a pick from Gary and Charlie took my phone and took a selfie mid show. Coolest experience I have ever had and I recommend everyone to go see them play.

  • Beat concert ever

by sugar pie on 7/27/22Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the band although the theater was small and very cramped. An outside venue would’ve been better with the amount of people there. But overall Muscadine was awesome and even did an encore

Best concert i’ve ever been to and I’m not sure if it’s going to ever be topped. These boys are bringing back real country a song at a time.

  • Would not go back

    by M on 7/26/22Buckhead Theatre - AtlantaRating: 1 out of 5

I’m sure the band was great but the venue was so crowded that we left at the beginning of the second song. The staff should have never sold that many tickets. We drove there from Birmingham for my daughters birthday and could not see the stage.
