    Every year a fantastic tournament

by Packer Paul on 3/19/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

For fans that like a conference that is very competitive, this is the Championship tournament for you. This year, the Mountain West sent 6 teams to the NCAA "March Madness". Only 2 other (big boy) conferences did better with 8 teams each. Every year the tournament has some surprises and also very, very close games.

This was my first time at the Mountain West tournament. It was a wonderful venue and being a NM Lobo fan, turned out to be the best time ever! LOBOS ARE MOUNTAIN WEST TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!!! I will never forget this!!

    Mtn. West Conference!

by Barb on 3/18/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

I have been attending and a season ticket holder since it's beginning '99/'00 season. I have always perceived this conference to be very challenging. It's not easy to play from sea level (SDSU) to elevation of 7200+ feet (Wyoming). I am so delighted that 6/11 team are now headed to the NCAA tournament! Now the rest of the country are also becoming aware of what those affiliated with the Mountain West have known for many years! The only downside I have witnessed over the years is very inconsistent refereeing. Congratulations on this 25th anniversary!

Do people really like this music? Way too loud!

by Rockytop on 3/17/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

2 overtime games in our session. Very exciting and competitive. Concessions were reasonably priced and tasty. The bands and spirit squads were excellent. The electronic music was painfully loud(can’t be within healthy limits).

    Ran out of beer

by BruceWayne on 3/17/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

Our recent experience in Las Vegas at the Mountain West Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament was great! The hotel and Thomas & Mack arena were great. The only downside was one employee before the championship game chatted with a customer for 7 minutes while the customers in line waited for that dude to get back to work AND the arena ran out of beer during the first half of the game. Really? Vegas of all places has a place that runs out of beer. 🍺 Siilly.

Great Event Itself, Everything Else However...

by bball2024 on 3/17/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

We went to both the afternoon and evening sessions of the MWC on 3/14 and while the basketball itself was fantastic, we found just about everything else lacking. While not the fault of the venue, both of the afternoon games went into overtime and since the building needed to be cleared between the sessions a log jam was created by those waiting to get in and those needing to first get out. There was no effort by the venue to direct foot traffic and it took much much longer that it needed to, to clear the building. The quality of much of the food was lacking to say the least. The one stand that looked really good was a Mexican food stand, however there was only one register open and a line at least 20 deep that moved so slowly we decided to go to get a burger that was barely edible. They also had run out of Mt. Dew, Cherry Pepsi and Diet Pepsi during the first game of the evening session. Finally a was disappointed by the lack of team merchandise specifically and merchandise in general. I saw only one table set up for merch that had only conference branded clothing. Again the basketball was phenomenal but the hosts have some work to do to bring everything else up to that standard.

    ADA No Access

by Jean on 3/14/24Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

The biggest problem I had with the venue is that did not allow ADA access to the floor, but it was only for some people

    Lady rebels

by Kettosan on 3/11/23Thomas & Mack Center - Las Vegas

It was a great game to watch, exciting close game most of the way. The rebels pulled away at the end to win the 2023 mountain west championship
