If you haven't seen the Crue, you are missing out! They are the most exciting group I have ever seen, and I will see them again every chance I get. Watching Mick Mars play was an honor. He is so talented- he is the greatest guitarist alive. Nikki Sixx is such a great showman, Tommy was a ball of energy and interacted with the croud quite a bit, and Vince was at the top of his game. I couldn't recommend them any higher. GO SEE MOTLEY CRUE!!!!!!
I'll have to admit having seen The Crue on almost every tour....I was reluctant to believe they would actually show up in Corbin, KY. But....they did & the boys turned that town on it ear! From the start of the show it was apparent that the band came to do nothing more then rock & thats just what they did. There are few 80's bands that survived through the 90's grunge onslaught but Motley Crue is a band that has not only survived through drastic changes in the musical climate but they thrived with a verosity through every one that only The Crue can. Simply put....there is nothing on Earth like a night when Motley is firing on all cylinders & they we're brother....THEY WERE!
Great show!!!! Enjoyed the pyro. Tommy Lee's a riot!!!
I've seen the CRUE live back in the day on the theater of pain, girls, girls, girls, and most recently carnival of sin tours. Compared to those shows this seemed like an abbreviated show. There weren't any girls on stage as backup singers or dancers. No drum or bass solo's. The setlist and explosions were awesome, tho. One thing that disappointed me was Crue has joined a growing list of entertainers who inject politics into their shows. I personally don't go to concerts to hear their political views. If anything I go to escape my daily life. Although the previously mentioned shows rated a 5 star review this show got only 3. Carnival of sin was probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Overall this was a good concert.
this concert was a mothers day present for my mom......so it kicked ss especially for her lol......i had originaly got the extra ticket for my husband but he unexspectantly got deployed to Iraq before he could go so really wished he could have came :( but the cocert was awesome except for having assighned seats and getting flashlighted for standing in them but when u have a giant biker dude infront of you its hard to see damnit...and they made u stay in your seat u couldnt rush the stage or anything...weird for a rock concert......but the opening band dedicated a song to the troops..thats was awesome !!!!
From the opening song "Kickstart my Heart" to the end of the show "Home Sweet Home" the Crue was rocking the arena. Vince was in great shape and got the crowd really involved even though his voice was not at his peak the show made up for it. Micks guitar solo was awesome and in the middle of the show Tommy passing the Yager through the crowed was cool.
The show was awesome! My first time to see Motley Crue and I will not forget it! I didn't like the poor quality of their tee shirts. The venue was a little less than desireable. They need to work on security and keeping people in their right area! I also didn't like that I couldn't take my camera in. But everyone with a cellphone could take pics.
Saw Motley Crue in Nasville 2 months prior to this show with the Saints of LA show which was very good. This show was better as they seemed to just let loose and play their stuff. This is a small venue and I wondered if they would scale down the showmanship but definitely not the case. The Arena is very nice with sufficient rest rooms and concessions. They had just received their beer permit which was good. We live in Knoxville and alcohol sales are prohibited at Thompson Bowling. The thing that must be improved is entry. There were only a couple of doors open for entry. One in the front and one in the back. We stood in line for over 30 minutes in the rain. It appeared the problem was they only have a few ticket scanners. Easy fix but needs to happen.
Loved the show. There were a few moments that the stage or arena messed up and had the lights on for a few songs but not the bands fault. All in all - as always.. a freakin great show. Can't wait to see them again in August! Love the Crue's concerts!!
Everything was awesome except when the center turned on the house lights for about 3 songs but they kept on rockin
I saw the crue many many times..... Great show.. but they didn't have the motorcycles, and blow ups and big big screens like they usually do...but a nice show for the Corbin arena... Plus they could have done a little better job with the drum solo....OH, wait...Tommy Lee didn't do one.....? whats up with that? but all in all... good show!
This concert was good, I just think I was sitting in a bad spot because it sounded like Vince Neil was a chipmunk on the mic.
great it was load and the bomb i had a great time at this show
i seen motley crue 7 or 8 times the show in corbin ky, was by far the greatest 1 to date. it was a up front in your face rock and roll show, that i will never forget. i've been too over 200 concerts (so far) this was by far the greatest shoe. no special effects lights or stage gimmicks, just hard ass rock and roll. great show guys and i'll see you again (hopfully in the near future)
I HAVE SEEN MOTLEY CRUE OVER 20 XS IN THE PAST 3 YRS IN DIFFERENT STATES. I WENT TO CRUE FEST LAST YR AND WILL BE GOING AGAIN THIS YR. THEY ROCKED THIS PLACE. THE CROWD WAS WONDERFUL. WHEN MOTLEY PLAYED IN KNOXVILLE THAT PLACE SUCKED. I HAVE BEEN GOING TO MOTLEY CONCERTS SINCE THE EARLY 80S AND TRY NOT TO MISS THEM. I WILL BE COMING BACK THERE FOR CONCERTS. I TRAVELED FROM KNOXVILLE AND MY FRIEND CAME FROM LEXINGTON, KY. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE. JUST GET MORE DIFFERENT LIQUORS.
I took my 15 year old son to his first concert!! And it was so good!! He had the best time and the Crue was unbelievable!!! I can't believe they still have it!!
We were very impressed with the energy these guy had. Great Show. Highly recommend any fan to see it.
this show was hot and the most energetic i have seen in some time, i would really recommend this to anyone who has not seen them in concert, i really hope they come back again i will go see them anytime they come with in driving distance of me...
Motley Crue has been my favorite band for 20 years, this was the first time I ever got to see them. Great Setlist, Great stage effects and most of all a Great band! I was 7 rows back from the stage and man it was totally awesome! It might have been a small venue (btw, ty Crue for choosing to do this venue) but they rocked it just like they would have if it seated 50,000.
