    best ever

by JenJenn1031 on 8/19/11Sleep Country Amphitheater (Amph at Clark County) - Ridgefield

Poison came out with so much energy even though some of the band members were fighting a cold, that is dedication. they were so energetic and did an awesome job getting the crowd involved. when it was time for Motley Crue to come on, everyone in the audience was curious what was behind the screen they had set up. unfortunately, the pyrotechnics went off a little early and the screen came down to soon, the audience was left waiting for the band, of course it was a technical problem. Actually, it really got the crowd worked up, they were chanting for the band over and over again. Besides the late start, the band was phenomenal, crowd was thoroughly involved and mesmerized by the pyrotechnics and the light displays. When Tommy Lee got up and did a drum solo, while going around in a circle like the ring of fire, that was amazing! All in All both Poison and Motley Crue were the best, I will definitely go and see them again

some tech difficulties, but worth it

by lump13 on 8/19/11Sleep Country Amphitheater (Amph at Clark County) - Ridgefield

Didnt see NY Dolls and didnt care. Poison was solid and I appreciated Bret doing the show even though he was under the weather a bit. Motley Crue delivered as usual, although we were cheated out of the opening song "Wildside" due to some tech problems. But they came back and played a great set list with a ton of energy. Tommy's drum solo still has my daughter talking!

    This show ROCKED!!!

by destinybound on 8/19/11Save Mart Center - Fresno

After all these years, I still believed that these bands could rock the house, but boy, was that an understatement. Both of the bands rocked the show like no other and who would have imagined that after 25 + years, that they played like it was their first show. The crowd was on their feet the entire time. This show was very nostalgic for me, as my 15 year old son was there with me, and I was just around the same age as he the first time I saw Poison and Motley Crue. We didn't get to see the New York Dolls.......came late and just in time to see Poison.

    Great Show

by Cruefan76 on 8/18/11Qwest Center Omaha - Omaha

Poison sounded great, lots of energy and interaction with crowd. Approximately a one hour set, I would've much rather had the time divided equaly between Poison and Crue due to the quality of the Poison set. Crue show was visually amazing. Lots of pyro, video etc. Music was strong and spot-on, however, I was not impressed with Vince Neil's singing. He was very choppy and seemed winded at times when he sang. Tommy Lee's solo was by far, the best thing of the night. Make sure to skip the opening act, NY Dolls, they really stank it up and appeared lifeless and bored through the entire performance.

Motley Crue & Poision at KC

by tonioni on 8/18/11Sprint Center - Kansas City

Motley Crue Rocked!!! Especially with Tommy Lee's drum roller-coaster & my favorite for the finale Kickstart My Heart. Poison was pretty cool, but they didn't play enough of their own songs. Small crowd compared to the 80's & early 90's crowds.

Rock n Roll knows no age!!

by jusmenroz on 8/18/11Save Mart Center - Fresno

This was an awesome show! It was cool to see people from different generations rockin' together! I am not a big punk fan but the New York Dolls were alright. Poison and Crue blew it away though! Having seen a few concerts where the musicians have aged a bit I was scared it would be a bit mundane but I was pleasantly surprised! I knew I could still rock out glad to know they haven't lost it either!!!
