  • not enough

by Ricmon on 1/19/11Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was nice in that the band gave a heart felt performance. However the show was just to short. I think these 70's band think their audience are all to big, fat and old to still want to party. Too bad the show could have been alot better if they just decided to give their audience more.

  • TOTALLY AWESOME

by LADYCAW on 1/19/11Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

MY SISTER, MY NIECE AND I ATTENDED THE SHOW. I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE A GOOD SHOW BUT IT WAS TOTALLY OFF THE CHARTS. I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW MUCH WE ENJOYED THE SHOW. THE WHOLE SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AGAIN.

After all these years, they've still got it. I thoroughly enjoyed this show.

Great to have them in the area, unfortunately they were just off a stop in NY so they were a bit fatique. Still a phenomenal show. show stopped at 9:30, could have gone to 10 pm but hey I'll take what I can get.

Got a table at the tip of the stage and the band rocked all night long. They even signed my album cover during the performance. Great Band that gave an excellent Show!!!

  • BEST LIVE BAND EVER!!!

by CAS52 on 1/18/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

If you have never seen Mother's Finest before, you need to check them out. This is the best live band I have ever seen. You can tell they are playing for you and enjoy what they are doing. They are consummate professionals and their playing is tight; from the band to the vocals.Overall they are some Funkin' rock and rollers. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SEE THEM!!!! Your heart, mind and soul will thank you.

  • Pure magic!

After being a fan for over 20 years, since the days I was living in Greece, I finally saw my favorite band live and am a bigger fan now than before!! I can't wait to see them again whenever they decide to come up North. I will also do some serious marketing for them because they need to be HEARD!! Maybe get on the Dave Letterman show a couple nights before - that should do the trick! People will flock to see them! Love you, Mother's Finest!

My husband & I, and my best friend and her husband, went. We had a great time! I've always loved their music. Also, enjoyed Wild Bill's. Will definitely go again.

  • Mother's Finest was the Finest

by Hotmel on 10/13/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 4 out of 5

The show at Wild Bill's was wonderful. Very exciting. I wish they would have played more of the older stuff than the new stuff. But it was great.

  • Mother's Finest was Awesome!

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 5 out of 5

Mother's finest rocked the house! I have loved them since the 70's and will continue to follow them. Can't wait for the new album to come out. HOWEVER the people were the RUDEST I have ever encountered at a concert. I will NOT go to Wild Bills again.

  • Mother's Finest, Will Bill's, Atlanta 10/9/10

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was really great, there was no smoking, plenty of clean bathrooms, a dance floor, and reserved tables towards the back if you wanted them. The PA was well mixed although there were some feedback problems. The stage had two video screens on either side so you could see well even from the back. Overall the venue was perfect for this type of gig. The opening band was a solid hard rock act with 90's influences. Can't remember their name but they were fine. Mother's Finest rocked and funked the house - head bangin' and booty shakin' to quote one of their songs. Played all of their fan favorites and did a great encore of "Train Kept a'Rollin" a la Aerosmith but with their own unique funky flavor. Mother's Finest still has every ounce of energy and fun they ever did.

This was a concert full of energy! I don't know how Baby Jean still does it!!! Great sounds, would have liked more of the old stuff but over all it was very good!

  • There is no other

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 5 out of 5

Mother's Finest continues to fully engage and entertain in the same high energy style they always have. As many times as I have seen them over the years (decades) they never disappoint. Rock on Mother's Finest!

  • Disappointed in Mother's Finest

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed. Maybe it just did not live up to seeing them when I was young at West Georgia College and other venues around Atlanta. The sound system seemed to have problems all night. Some of the hits were barely recognizable. So, disappointed overall with the $50.00 we spent.

  • Funk Rock at Country Western Bar

by Anonymous on 10/11/10Wild Bills - DuluthRating: 1 out of 5

Worst concert at worst venue I have seen in the Atlanta area. The warm up band was an hour of miserable noise that lasted until almost 10:30 pm. 40 minutes into Mother's Finest and not having heard one of the three songs we wanted to hear, we called it a morning.
