They had me moving and on my feet most of the night... Great show! Missed Doc... I hope he is on his way to recovery.
Great show with plenty of energy. Out of seat for the whole show. Wish that it lasted longer.
đđźđ⌠Great Concert. I hope MF plays closer to Gso/W-S more oftenq
MF was great. Iâve listened to their music for a long and had a great time at their concert. Very entertaining
The Mothers were just awesome! Shoot to thrill was good but sorry can't do AC/DC justice But VERY Talented musicians Wafer Thin was a good opener Glad to hear of the heart attack survival Great venue for a small crowd Great sound Hope to see more bands here
Very good show. Would have preferred Mother's Finest to play longer even if first act had to be eliminated. They were good but was looking for more of the headliner.
Audio left a lot to be desired. For a small venue the music was much too loud. Readings were consistently at 109 db. We will probably not visit this venue. Mother's Finest put on a great show however.
My friends went with me on a whim. I love Motherâs Finest and have followed them for a long time. I couldnât pass up the show this close to home. All I can say is WOW!!! They put on one hell of a show. The energy that they put out was phenomenal just like back in the old days. This was definitely one of the best concerts I have been to lately. Wafer Thin and Shoot to thrill did an awesome job opening up for them too
Good music, performance, audience participation. The performance time was very well planned.
I've been a fan of Mother's Finest since 1977. Their high energy funk and roll approach to the music, to the performance, to the crowd interaction has been a constant over the years. I wanted to see them again after 47 years, and they did not disappoint. As they took the stage in the intimate setting of the Birchmere, the energy of anticipation spread rapidly throughout until it had reached every table and every corner of the room. For the next 2 hours they presented their patented tight and powerful, hard drivin' funk and roll as only MF can do. Most songs had a new musical twist that was both refreshing and entertaining. KUDOS to the Birchmere for handling the crowd, the food and drinks, and especially for the top-of-the-line JBL sound system - the ONLY way one should hear this fantastic group! Well worth the drive up from Richmond. Mother's Finest Definitely deserves 5 x 5 STARS - ALL NIGHT LONG!
Spectacular performance by The One And Only Mother's Finest. Outstanding Performance by one of The Best Bands in the land. The interaction with the audience was amazing.
It was an excellent concert. The Mother's finest band music is one of a kind. The music that is made today is not music that people can talk about it years. My husband and I can't wait to come to other concerts. Thank you
Motherâs finest has been around a long time and they never disappoint happy birthday to Phyllis Kennedy and her son I love yâall a lot continue to play youâre a good music
The Birchmere is one of the best venues in the DMV and books the best acts! Motherâs Finest is a consistent draw with the most loyal fans. As per usual they rocked the motherfunking house! Even after 50 years of touring, no less!
I have seen more bands( Led Zep, Stones, Who, etc....) than I can count and Mother's Finest is my most favorite band to see Live! I love the Buckhead Theatre a lot......my only negative is the fact that no one was allowed down at the stage to dance and rock out with the band...not even during the encore :(
Saw Mothers Finest for 3rd time, 2nd time at Buckhead Theatre. Was disappointed with the sound. It didnât seem loud enough. We had seats under the balcony so donât know if that had anything to do with it. The last time we saw them at Buckhead theatre sound was much better but we were about 10 rows closer.
MF put on a great show. The acoustics were great and the seating was adequate.
Growing up in Atlanta I was no stranger to Mothers Finest - so when I heard they were coming - I had to attend, for old times sake! WOW - they did not disappoint - they were actually better than ever and it was one of the BEST shows I have seen this year and I have gone to A LOT of big names concerts! My husband who is from the NEast had no idea who they were and he HAD A BLAST - and even downloaded their music after the show. GREAT venue to see a show, surprisingly great sound/acoustics, every seat is good - high recommend seeing a show at Buckhead Theatre. CAN'T wait to see Mothers Finest again - hope it wont be too long!
Saw them while in high school years ago and they still put on a great show.
JOYCE, MURDOCK AND MOSES ROCKED THE HOUSE AGAIN. THEY ARE AN AMAZING GROUP
