About

Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage.  Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.

Mother Mother were recently catapulted into a new stratosphere of universal success following the release of their critically acclaimed studio album INSIDE.  Their explosive follow-up to "Hayloft," "Hayloft II" connected with fans around the world and is now certified Gold in the US and approaching Platinum in their home country of Canada. A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.

The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.

  • Awesome

by Set the bar so high!!! on 10/21/22The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent except for parking. Parking always been an issue for years so I don’t understand why it’s still a problem with flow in and out. Also bathrooms ran out of toilet paper for womens which is unacceptable. They should be checked during each performance in the lull to ensure women aren’t stuck by themselves without anything to wipe with.

  • Amazing

by Grady on 10/21/22The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

The entry was very quick and easy and The intermissions between each band was short I overall had a blast and I would relive it over and over again if I could.

  • Mixed experience

by Sharon on 10/21/22The Ritz - RaleighRating: 2 out of 5

We bought our tickets primarily to see Sir Sly which was one of the back up bands. They cancelled and it would have been nice to have been told this as I would have sold the tickets. Even the venue still listed them on their site but the employees didn't seem to know if there were coming or not. This venue which is standing room was very crowded. It seems that many of the young people have one or two persons come early and then have a large crowd of 6-8 friends come late and push their way to the front ahead of you to be with their 'friends'. This didn't just happen once or twice but several times, so although we were there at the beginning we could barely see at the end.

  • Great Show

    by D. A. on 10/19/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Amazing, both bands that performed before them were show stopping and had good music. Definitely going to look out for them again and explore their music. The cheers were loud and never stopped the whole night.

  • Wonderful experience

    by B. B. on 10/19/22Rating: 5 out of 5

Saw them at The Ritz in NC, they played so wonderfully. Tbh they were even better in person. They spread such a positive energy and I didn't wanna leave.

  • My niece's first concert - hard to beat

by Chef Erik on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Get venue, surprisingly goo sound system, but a great band. Acoustic VIP show with Q&A was fun, really showed off their early stuff and skills as musicians. There electric set was excellent- energetic, great harmonies, super stage presentation.

  • Fantastic

by Sakura on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Mother Mother is just as good--if not better--live as they are recorded. Had a great time at the concert and especially enjoyed the private performance and Q&A of the VIP experience.

  • Downright amazing

by KootchMoth on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Mother mother was such a treat and the Fillmore was the place to do it

  • Horrible

by Ron G. on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 1 out of 5

Sir Sly canceled their appearance at the show..the only reason I bought the tickets!. No notification of bands cancellation and no offer of a refund for wasting my time and money.

  • One of the Best Concerts I've Ever Been to

by marmoset on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I bought the VIP acoustic set and it was incredible to get to actually talk to the band. Mother Mother does such a great job of conveying how much they really care about their fans. Their set was so full of energy and connection with the crowd. After their on-core Rynn jumped down into the pit and spent several minutes high-fiving and hugging fans. What a great time. I'm also a new fan of their warm-up act Vundabar who had a serious old-school punk vibe.

  • FANTASTIC

by Carly on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Transviolet and Vundabar were AMAZING supporters to the wonderful act of Mother Mother. I was against barricade and the pianist, Jasmine, did a little heart thing back to me when I did it to her. The whole band was sweet! The staff was great too, making sure we had water and made leaving and getting in super easy. I wish I was still there <3

  • AMAZING!!

by Brooke on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The performance itself was spectacular and I did not know Vundabar was opening which was an amazing surprise! If the venue could find a better way to be able to hand out water to the crowd, they try and hand it out by passing out little plastic cups which was a little iffy. Other than that amazing. Mother Mother puts on an amazing and super entertaining show.

  • Great performance

by JDiggy on 10/17/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

The band sounded great. The venue was great and I was able to upgrade to the balcony as I had 2 pre-teens with me and the show was sold out.

  • Great live show, lovely venue for them.

by McGervey on 10/16/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

Finally got to see Mother Mother live and they didn’t disappoint. High energy, tight sound, and good acoustics, mix and lighting. Vundabar did a great job warming up the crowd as well. The Roxian is a great, intimate venue for a rock show and this one didn’t disappoint. The Burning Pile Cosmo and Hayloft Lemonade were tasty band themed drinks too. Great job Roxian!!!

  • Best concert ever!!!!

by Gray on 10/16/22Roxian Theatre - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I loved loved loved this concert!!!!!!! The crowd interactions were so nice and I loved the messages you guys shared with us! I thought the song choices and the way you transitioned between them were absolutely perfect!!! I also thought it was really cool that you guys made that TikTok to see what songs we would want played. It just really felt like you cared about everyone and wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. I can’t wait for your next concert!!!!!!!!!
