Morgan Wallen seems equally comfortable performing in the cozy confines of an intimate venue or commanding a huge crowd. So whether he's working up a hardy batch of hardcore fans to a fever pitch in a small club or guesting with Florida Georgia Line at Nissan Stadium for a CMA Fest performance of his breakout hit "Up Down," Wallen knows how to put himself across with a minimum of fuss and maximum impact.
Wallen's style blends elements of hip-hop and R&B into a modern country template, and he's got a voice soulful enough to accommodate that mix in a totally seamless way. When Luke Bryan brings you on stage to join him on a tune and introduces you by saying, "He's gonna be one of the biggest stars in the world," you know you've got something going on. And that's who it was for Morgan Wallen.
The native Tennessean made his way to the top of the Nashville heap and bypassed the major-label system to boot, remaining indie while connecting to hundreds of thousands of modern country fans. He was barely out of his teens when he had his first taste of fame by appearing on The Voice. But it was Wallen's 2016 debut single, "The Way I Talk," that really got things going for him, landing him in the country Top 40 and achieving gold status.
His first album, If I Know Me, was produced by Joey Moi of Big Loud Records. Moi made his name overseeing mega-platinum rockers Nickelback before relocating to Nashville and becoming a country music mogul. The album's second single, "Up Down," featured superstars Florida Georgia Line and reached the top of the Country Airplay charts, definitively announcing that Wallen had arrived as a major name in Nashville.

You can see why they are friends by how they are on stage and it’s amazing stage presence. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was i couldn’t hear what they were saying clearly which I believe was from the venue not them because I’ve seen Morgan before and I was always able to hear him clearly. But other than that it was one of the best shows I’ve ever been too and I can’t wait to see him again this summer

The Pre-show people “hardy” & “Laney Wilson” were awesome, but Morgan Wallen rocked the house!!!!! He is so humble, he doesn’t act like he is better than everyone else, he interacts with the crowd, and make sure everyone is having a good time! He sounds really awesome live!!!!! I love him!! Big fan of him and hardy!!!! He’s a great singer/ songwriter!!! Hardy & laney are great singers/song writers as well !!!!

However, thats when the doors opened. First band did not take the stage until 8:45 and main event at 10:45. Almost 5 hours after the advertised time.
