MOONSHINE BANDITS IN CONCERT:
California country rap duo Moonshine Bandits always gets the party started with their rowdy songs about jacked-up trucks, whiskey-soaked nights, and run-ins with the cops. Tex and Bird -- the project's masterminds -- are consummate live performers, bringing equal parts hip hop swagger and country twang to the stage as they raise the roof with catchy cuts like "Get Loose" and "California Country". With their slick beats, clever lyrics, and larger-than-life personalities, Moonshine Bandits always get hands waving and booties shaking at their raucous live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from the farmlands of Central California, Moonshine Bandits formed in the early-'00s out of a desire to represent a rural Cali lifestyle that contrasts with the Hollywood image most people associate with the Golden State. With that in mind, Tex and Bird joined forces and began producing tracks as Moonshine Bandits, an homage to Tex's bootlegger great-grandfather. They made their debut in 2003 with the album Soggy Crackerz, a unique fusion of rap, country, and rock that helped establish them as a rising force in country rap. As their reputation grew so did their tour schedule, and in 2010 they were honored with an invitation to perform for US military personnel stationed at Fort Irwin, CA. In 2011 they released their album Whiskey & Women, a breakthrough success that landed on both the rap and country charts and drew them out for extensive touring. Tex and Bird have always been proud of their California heritage, and they continued to honor it in 2014 with the album Calicountry, a party-worthy release full of bass-heavy tracks that make the perfect addition to the duo's adrenaline-filled sets on tour.
the bandits put on an awesome show, the venue was great as well with great drinks. cant wait to see them again...just as good if not better live than on record. outstanding job guys.

The show was horrible. From the opening act to the Moonshine Bandits themselves. 8 Second Saloon was as awesome as usual.
First time at 8 Seconds Saloon what a great venue! Moonshine Bandits are at the top of their game and put on an unforgettable show. They interact with fans and their love for the music, the crowd brings an intensity and joy that you rarely see with live acts. Their shows are a blast start to finish and it's the most fun at a show you'll ever have! The DJ and drummer bring another element that makes MSB a must see band. Most of all their music is amazing and meant to be seen live with the boys going full throttle onstage.
Can't wait to see them again!! This was my first concert ever! And I have to say it was better than I expected!! Welcome back to Cali boys! You totally blew me away!!!
The environment, the venue, and the crowd were great, Moonshine Bandits were unforgettable!!!!!!!!!!! went to the same show last year, just keeps getting better! I will be back anytime they play at the Cave!
Venue was fantastic - very intimate, bar staff were on point and fast, drinks were great, security was there but well behaved, opening act Demun Jones was fantastic and well, Moonshine Bandits were off the chain. SOOO good - the best show we have seen in a long while. Only 1 suggestion - because the venue was so small, the sound was a bit loud/distorted so maybe turn it down a spec but it was an awesome show to be sure #shinernation
Love the Cave first time there had amazing seats and shiner nation was HOT love the concert great performers!!!! And the drummer she kicks ass!!!

Moonshine Bandits, Demun Jones, Big B were awesome to see as Moonshine Bandits put on one hell of a show!!!
Not a big crowd at the show but that did not stop the Moonshine Bandits from putting on an awesome show. Got to meet and hang with the band it was all I could have hoped for.
We enjoyed what show there was but it was poor. The band was almost 45 minutes behind schedule and then the overall show only lasted 45 minutes.
