Moon Hooch began busking in the subway platforms of NYC in 2010, quickly getting noticed by the NYPD, who had to ban them from locations that couldn't handle the crowds. In a few short years they were opening for the likes of Beats Antique, They Might Be Giants, and Lotus, while selling out their own headline shows at marquee venues around the United States and Europe. Their unconventional sound and techniques, utilizing found objects like traffic cones, landed them appearances on NPR's Tiny Desk in America, "Later...with Jools Holland" in the UK, "Hamish & Andy's Gap Year" in Australia, and private audiences with the Premier League's Chelsea F.C. They are currently touring the world.

Moon Hooch was amazing to watch live. They never stopped playing from the time they hit the stage until the show was over and hour and a half later. They were great to meet after the show and happy to take the tine to talk. Can’t wait to see them again.
You need to see these guys live to really appreciate how special what they do is. It's like a huge dance party with all live musicians playing dance music with saxophones. The drummer is unbelievable. Just go.You'll see something you've never seen before.
I had high expectations for my first concert with Moon Hooch, and they blew me away! Ridiculously good energy and their musicality is top notch.
Moon hooch was the absolute best experience of my life. I will see them again...one day.
CRAZY performance !!! Unbelievable energy !! Can't wait for the next time !
This show way exceeded my expectations! I was blown away by how skilled they are! Both sax players have incredible chops, seriously they can't be human. They kept the energy up throughout the entire show, had everybody dancing, and didn't miss a beat.
This was literally the best show I've been to in a while. I don't typically dig dance music but the use of horns makes it. These guys are so talented; they barely even said a word the whole time! They just played and played and played.
I had a great time seeing them live! I saw them once in the subway!
These guys are pretty incredible in every way. Original, genuine, and virtuoso. The performance was one of those where you're not just totally lost in the sound and moved by it, but also impressed by the mastery of the musicians. All three of them were dripping wet by the end of the show and so out of breath they could hardly talk, yet were still pumped and kept going. Moon Hooch is an act you want to check out soon. And then a few more times soon afterwards.
Moon Hooch put on an incredible, energetic show. My friends and I all loved it!
They opened for Mike Doughty and they rocked the joint. Who'd have thought that you could sustain a song with dueling saxes, well, you can.
