I would certainly recommend this event. Great family day at the Beach. If your little ones like trucks, they will love this event. Much better on the beach than in a Colisuem.

Monsters on the beach, great show!!!

by Catboss on 5/11/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

I miss the show last year becasue I didn't know they have it. I got there just on time to see the end of the show and since then I decided I wasn't going to miss it this year. It is amazing how those big trucks can fly on the air. I will repet next year.

Monsters on the beach was AWESOME!!!!!

by VirginiaIsGreat on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

We had a great time at monsters on the beach! The kids loved it. The best part was the freestyle at the end. Tickets were a great price. Food was too expensive, but souvenirs were good. We loved getting a ride in the monster truck before the event. Everything was AWESOME!

Monster Trucks were blowing the sand around

by kmoney1 on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

The first trucks were of course Pungo Production Off Road. The trucks that didn't go fast enough were the street vehicles with regular tires. The ones that went the fastest were the big dune buggies and the ones with good traction. Then came the little dune buggies. They were doing okay until they start turning. When they start turning they collide with each other. Some of them got there axles stuck together. When some of them got stuck in the sand they were kicking it up. This one monster truck flew through the air at 30 to 40 ft. high. Crushstation didn't do many freestyle rounds because it ripped something underneath the truck as it went over one of the vans. Megasoeous snacked on some pieces of the car and tore it in half, but he didn't set the car on fire. The monsters were okay but the main reason I go to watch them is the freestyles, fights, and megasorous.

    Yea, MONSTER TRUCKS!!!!

by doodlebutt on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

I knew what to expect with respect to the actual show, which was fun to watch, but was dissapointed that we didn't get to have the full "Experience" that we paid for. We waited in line so long for the monster truck ride that we missed out on getting up close and personal with the trucks and drivers. We still got our stuff (tshirt, poster and vip pass) and seating. It would have been nice to have it listed or posted somewhere when the time with the drivers would end. Other wise it was fun!

    Awesome Time

by Nyteamber on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

This was the first time my son got to see these trucks in person. It was a memory of a lifetime with my dad and him watching the show. I have some awesome pictures and this was much better outside then in a building with the noise levels to.

Monsters on the Beach is a must do for the kids

by Nysha on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

I took my three boys for mothers day and they really enjoyed themselves as did I. The atmosphere, the VA beach strip, was perfect with all the differesnt vendors, food, and being able to see the trucks. The show was also nice. Our favorite part was actually the atv races. The boys enjoyed being able to get the autographs from each driver afterwards. Great value for the money.

    FUN N Da SUN

by MonsterMomof1 on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

We had a great time. Megasaurus was awesome! We usually attend the indoor shows, but there was nothing compared to the wide open beach. I would have liked to see more trucks doing freestyle and car jumping competition with donut competition. The racing and freestyle were great. We watched a lot of 4wheeler and truck racing. Prefer more Monster Trucks. All and all we will be back next year!

Monsters on the Beach was Awesome!!!!

by Shell8450 on 5/10/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

I thought this would be an event that the kids would enjoy, but it was fun for the adults as well! My 4 year old little girl now wants to drive Grave Digger!

I expected a lot more action from this event. Basically, some trucks raced each other and then a few trucks drove around on the sand.

    Was just ok for teens...

by Mom4Teens on 5/9/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

It was ok. It was as advertised and a real class act as usual for the monster trucks. It was probably more geared for the younger kids and not for my 3 teenaged sons 17-18. They were a somewhat bored after 30-45 minutes and left early although they did enjoy all the activity and cars outside the gate.

    A good show to attend

by Dannyh1972 on 5/9/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

This is the third year going, it was the worst only because of the way the stands were arranged, Normally we sat on the other side so you did not have the traffic, if they find some way to route everyone behind the stands it would improve the enjoyment of the show, but we found that we missed more than we saw. Not only from the crowd walking in front but there was a monster truck sign right in front of the action. On the flip side the action we did see was awesome! The four wheeler race was good and one of my sons got to help celebrate Virginia's win. The trucks could get some air! And on Sunday we walked the strip taking pictures of the trucks when we got to Grave Digger my youngest favorite truck. He start calling "Mr Brown!!! Mr Brown" He is 3 and Mr Brown came arround the corner it made his day he went over and hugged him. This by itself made up a lot for the poor view of the show.

Monsters On the Beach... a blast!

by uscliftons on 5/9/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Loved the Monster Trucks on the beach! Went with two other families and all three of our 4-year-olds loved it! Our show was at 12:00 on Saturday so the sun was pretty intense. Would be great if they could figure a way to incorporate some temporary shade...bleacher awnings, tarps, etc. Not sure if that's possible but certainly would add to the enjoyment factor. Definitely apply sunscreen before & during, as well as water/juice boxes for the little ones who dehydrate easily. Will definitely be going to it next year!

    Not enough monsters

by Merc14 on 5/9/105th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

This show was, for the most part, pick-up trucks and ATV's racing each other. Between races the monster trucks would do a few jumps, which were great, but then they'd disappear again and more races would ensue. The trucks were awesome but off stage too much until the last 20 minutes or so my advice is come late unless you like to see pickup trucks jumping.
