    Monster Truck

    by monsterfan22000 on 3/4/16Union Hall - Edmonton

That was my first event at the Union, the layout and the sound was amazing. Monster Truck is now on my top 3 list of most loudest bands I've ever seen. Not only that, the stage presence was unprecedented. Greatest rock band on the scene right now.

    MT ROCKED THE BLUES HOUSE

by Coconut20 on 8/14/14House of Blues - Houston

This was my first time to see Monster Truck, who opened for the most awesome Alter Bridge. I really enjoyed MT and will see them again. They have the old rocknroll look that we love to see, and everyone at the house was jamming. It was a good night.

Good show- but MONSTER TRUCK lacked charisma!

by ChefMichael57 on 5/27/14THE STARLAND BALLROOM - SAYERVILLE

Ever since the release of their amazing album FURIOSITY - MONSTER TRUCK has been on my radar to see live. The album came out in June of 2013 and my first opportunity to see them was this show at the STARLAND BALLROOM. My specialty is new and rising musical artists so I had tagged this band for success as soon as I heard the album. My preference is to see these fledgling artists in a small 250 capacity club- meet the band- score a picture with them etc. But it's not unusual for a new band with obvious talent to land a tour supporting an established headliner as was the case here. BUCKCHERRY headlined the show but I was there to see MONSTER TRUCK. FIRST OFF- if I have to go to a bigger venue say 2000+than the STARLAND BALLROOM would be my first choice. Parking is reasonable and easy! The layout of the club is such that you can get real close to the stage without much gymnastics. The sound system was excellent That said- MONSTER TRUCK was the main support for BUCKCHERRY and they played after THE MACHINE ELVES (opener) and 3 PILL MORNING. The problem for MT is they followed a very charismatic power set by 3 Pill and as a result their lack of charisma was very obvious. It should be mentioned that guitar player JEREMY WIDERMAN did provide some stage presence but the rest of the band are simply not showmen yet. I'm a TRUCK fan and musically they were excellent- but stage presence is huge when performing live and my hope is that they will work on this going forward! Regardless- MONSTER TRUCK IS ON THE RISE BRINGING OLD FASHIONED IN YOUR FACE ROCK AND ROLL. Get the album!

    The Furiosity of Touriosity

by DONTFCUKWITHTHETRUCK on 12/24/13Sound Academy - Toronto

Absolutely amazing, fantastic lights, roaring crowd singing to all the lyrics, killer sound, and a great stage appearance. Monster Truck seriously put on a great show and I can't wait until they are back. For the opening they started with Old Train and for about 5 min before the lights were flashing and they had orchestrated music and train effects in the distance (rail road rattle, chains jingling, horns blairing, crossing signs ringing), the place felt like it was gunna explode, WAY TOO COOL. Almost felt like a Metallica show haha.
