    sick tricks! sick show!

by rowone on 1/16/10El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

these guys work so hard to put on a great show!they needed more room we must offer these guys a bigger place to perform here they are worth it! the motorcycle tricks in air off the ramps were unbelieveable these guys are huge talent ! and they work so hard to set up and tear down equipment to do thier show,I really believe the last freestyle on the monster trucks should have been won by half pint, nasty boy was awesome no doubt, but halfpint clearly won.my favorite is unnamed untamed, the announcer is awesome!! he is funny ,motivating, has a great voice is clear and does his job in a fun way, this show needs to keep coming back but we (el Paso) need to get a bigger area for thier show so we can get a mud bog added, the local guys should have had to do more to win title the monster trucksand drivers are top of the line show men and professional, they know how to bring it,I'm a girl and had the best time ever!!!

    Monster trucks at ELP Coliseum

by EpColiseumShow on 1/16/10El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

The motorcycle show was very cool. It's impressive to see them do acrobats in such a tight spot. That was also the problem. The coliseum simply does not have the room for this type of event. Moreover they have to keep the doors open for these guys and it was quite cold. We bought VIP seats and had to leave at the half because my wife and daughter were cold and not impressed. I say they tried real hard and it's impressive to see this being organized under such constraints but I would not recommend it nor will I ever go there again. I hear the same type of show in the sun bowl is much better. So we'll see.

    Monster Truck Show

by Cald1979 on 1/16/10El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

I liked the show but thought the venue was too small for a monster truck course. I would have liked to see the monster trucks do more than a 3 second race and freestyle over 4 crashed vehicles. I don't think I will go back to see a show at this venue because it was too small.

I thought I paid to see a Munster Truck Show?

by 0926 on 1/16/10El Paso County Coliseum - El Paso

My son, My husband and myself thought the show was boring!! I will not recommend paying to see that show or any other munster truck show at the coliseum. My son actually wanted to leave at the intermission, but I told him and my husband both that we did not have money to waste and we were going to sit through the rest of the show...I think I was more upset than disappointed because we are not a family with luxury money and I try to spend my money wisley... Over all...The show was boring!!!!!!

Just wasn't enough variety for my taste in this show. The limited amount of space, I'm sure, had something to do with it. My 5 year old was interested in it, but by the time they called for an intermission, we were hoping it was the end. And then to hear the second half was coming up--we just looked at each other and sighed! I know we could've gotten up and left, but when you pay that much for tickets, we just felt obligated to stay and suffer through it to the end. And the 4-wheeler race!! What a joke!!! The little guys were cute and as far as I'm concerned, they should've been the only ones "racing" on quads!! The street bike show started out interesting, but they ended up doing the same things over and over. We were just expecting more for $20.00, I guess.

    not a truck show

by truckguy1 on 1/11/10Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

We went there to see monster trucks. They ended up being a very small part of the show. Most of the time was filled with local quads racing around the arena. Not what I paid for!

This had to be the worst Monster Truck show ever. A total of 4 monster trucks. No dirt on the floor. No ventilation and when they did air out the place they opened the doors...and it was 12 degrees here.

We left at intermission! My kids were bored with all the waiting and the very limited monster truck events.

Nothing like their commercial on TV, in my opinion

by Brianm100000 on 1/10/10Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

No real action whatsoever!!... A very "Lowend" event compared to others I have been to. But good for kids. No brand name trucks or drivers. Nothing like their commercial, in my opinion. Seems to me that hey spent all the money on marketing, very little on the event.. They didn't even move the rubber mats on the floors for the 4 wheeler races. Some of the 5 trucks were pretty beat up, missing parts, not running properly, I'm sure the kids liked it though. Sorry, but you asked for a review.....

    amp wasnt that great

by chip27 on 1/10/10Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

i definitely didnt think it was worth the money, my kids were ready to leave early and then after intermission was horrible, in the freestyle two trucks went out of 4 while the other 2 had problems and wouldnt run. i wouldnt recommend this to anyone and i hope they will consider giving me at least half my money back.

    disappointing

by Anonymous on 1/9/10Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

Was disappointed in the amount of Monster Truck action. In a 3hr period, we saw approximately 45min to 60 min. of Monster Trucks, and probably on about 30min. of that the trucks were actually performing. The remaing 1hr and 45min. we watched locals quad race--not what I paid for. Maybe half that time of quad racing would have been fine. If I had wanted to see quads, that's what I would have paid for.

Thunderslam wasn't much of a storm

by RevCapp on 1/9/10Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

First of all, the War Memorial just isn't a big enough venue for monster trucks. They were really limited as to what they could do. Then, if there was any kind of problem, it took a long time to get things straightened out. I think everyone did the best they could, but.... The local sportbike performers were ok the first time, but when they came out again, it was same old, same old, and the crowd reaction reflected that. The ATV races weren't too bad, but again, the venue was just too small. And they took up too much time; I paid for my son and I to see monster trucks perform. A little of the local stuff would have been ok, but that's not why we came. Lastly, the trucks were relatively disappointing. Dragonfly didn't seem to run right from the very beginning, and didn't run at all in the second part of the performance. Dark Knight was a great looking truck, but with a first-time driver, had a one jump and crash performance in the first half, and some very tentative, unimpressive jumps in the second. Easy Rider was ok with what he had to work with at the facility. Twisted Dragon pretty much salvaged the night with a pretty impressive closing effort, although he ended weakly by getting stuck on top of the wrecked cars, spinning forward and backward several times in vain, and finally giving up. Overall, my 11-yr old son was somewhat entertained to see the trucks in person, and perhaps I might recommend the show for first-time children viewers, but overall I was pretty disappointed to drive 1 1/2 hours both ways, on snow-covered roads, to see what we saw.

Outdoors is the best place to monster trucks, and Husets is a good place for it, it was a fun event for our whole family.

    that was a great show!

by baerbabe on 7/11/09Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort Wayne

We got to meet all the drivers, get autographs and pictures and the kids even got to ride in a monster which was great for them. They all put on a really good show and the moto cross was crazy even the cold weather and wind didn't stop them.

    A Complete Waste of Money!!!

by fwbirdman on 7/11/09Allen County War Memorial Coliseum - Fort Wayne

WHAT A JOKE!!!! There were only 4 trucks (one of which broke down driving from pits out for introductions). Also advertised was huge motorcycle jump competition (were only 3 bikes with the oldest rider 13 years old). The weather was great, but trucks sucked. Racing speeds were only slightly above their speed during intro's. In freestyle, only 1 truck actually got any air, and then only 3 or 4 feet or so. For the thrills and excitement I got for the price of the tix, I would have gotten more entertainment if I had spent the money on a Big Wheel for my 4 y/o grandaughter and had her ride over a parking bump!!!
