    waste of $100

    by disappointedmom15 on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

our 4 tickets were just over $100. I've been to many truck shows in the past and bought tickets especially to take my 7yo son. This show was quite disappointing. Shottenstein Arena may be good for some things, but it is just too small for something like this. The trucks got no speed, and once the cars were flat, they were flat. Take them out and do something else for crying out loud. This is one of those things...Once is enough...especially of this venue

    The umph was missing

by Fatherandyoungson on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

I recently attended the Monster truck show as I do every year. This year unlike others I wasnt so happy with the show. The normal trucks were there minus the fan favortie (Dennis Anderson's) Grave Digger. There was no dirt as normal with meant the jumps werent so good. They added in a not so applauding magic show which had most of the attendees puzzled and patiently waiting for it to be over. I loved the addition of the Junior truck drivers that was a hit amongst the crowd. All around the show was worth the money but it is just not as good as it use to be. Now a day what event really is though?

Boring, Doesn't hold the kids interest.

    by Darlene65 on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

This was NOT WORTH THE MONEY at ALL! I would never go again or suggest anyone I know to go. The magic tricks were a JOKE! Not much action with the trucks! Monster Jam at Nationwide was so much better and CHEAPER! I would go to Monster Jam at Nationwide but NEVER Monster Truck Nationals. The price was DOUBLE the cost for Monster Jam at Nationwide Arena and only 1/4 as good. NOT WORTH IT and I SUGGEST you not waste your MONEY!!!!

    Mom

by Anonymous on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

It just wasn't exciting as other shows we've been to. My children didn't like it at all. The Raminator was the only good truck there as far as putting on a show.

    Monster dinner

by MonsterJamColumbusOhio on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

We paid for dinner and got snacks. Very disappointed, we thought we were getting a dinner. Mini corn dogs, peanut butter and jelly in a tortilla, pop corn and fruit. Please tell me what part of this was dinner? They didn't even look at our tickets, we could have not paid for this and still came in. It was cool the drivers came in and walked around and talked with us. But the dinner was a joke.

    Fun trucks, weak crowd entertainment

by kamofrogg on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

I took my 11 year old son, and the event overall was a great time for both of us. We aren't "truck people", but it was fun to see the trucks jump and spin. The downfall of the show was the "inbetween stuff". I get that they can only do so much with huge trucks in a small space, but they really dropped the ball on the non truck entertainment. There was one magic trick, and the rest of the time, we just sat and watched while some of the crew played with a variety of remote control vehicles.

They can do better than this!

    by Belmar2 on 4/8/13Schottenstein Center - Columbus

The kids didn't hate it, but they can do a better job putting a show together than what we got Saturday night. We will NEVER waste our money on this event ever again.

    Not Great

by GalvaJensen on 3/25/13Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena - Sioux City

My 6 year old and 3 year old loved this event but it was actually pretty boring. There is no reason for it to be called a magic show because there is hardly any magic at all. The show was constantly stopped because of CO2 levels. Also, there was not enough room for the trucks to do much.

    Terrible show

by Rk150 on 3/25/13Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena - Sioux City

The Tyson Evrnt Center is a horrible venue got monster trucks. They had to take breaks after two trucks ran due to CO2 levels. Also has to keep all doors wide open so it was extremely cold. My don had to wear his winter coat, hat and gloves for this inside event. Won't be going to this again.

    Expensive for what you get

by Gracie51005 on 3/25/13Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena - Sioux City

I called in advance to see if we needed to get a ticket for our 1-year old and was told no. When we got to the venue we were told we did need to get a ticket. Fine, Bought the ticket. Lengthy pauses between car events due to poor ventilation. The MC kept apologizing for the delays due to high CO2 levels. Wasn't a good experience for our family.

    not impresses

by bcollett on 2/18/13The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

Was not as good as last two years things seemed to move slow.. there was only 5 trucks. My 5 and 3 year old both ready to leave to the intermission. Was not happy. Wished we would have went to Monster Jam in Knoxville. The magic show sucked. How do you go from a car eating dinosaur to that.

    Monster truck

by Lee197 on 2/17/13The Arena at Southeastern KY Agricultural and Expo Complex - Corbin

It was ok. they should have put dirt in the arena and made at least one jump. and the arena smelled bad the first night, friday, because they dd not vent the arena properly. I wuld not recomend going again to an inside event like this.
