I guess I don't know what I expected for $80, but this wasn't it. The DJs were good (I mostly saw Moby and Carl Cox) and dancing was fun. I had a good time, considering. But spending $80 for six hours or so of dancing was way too much. I would have had a lot more fun going to a smaller venue and listening to a no-name DJ rather than a massive crowd with trash all over the floor and $5 water.

Monster Massive exceeded my expectations. The Arena was amazing. If this event had bigger talent producers/DJ's and extended until 4am, it would have been perfect.

    Axwell Stage all night long

by davolni on 10/25/10Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

I must say, this year was a lot better compared to last year. The music was better all around, less lines, better crowed (more mature) and the women were beautiful to say the least. Defiantly a place to go with a big crowed that loves the music. I hope it gets better and better every year. Keep it up. P.S. one thing I don't understand is why sell $60,70,80 tickets... not fair. just stick to 60

    Monster lines!

by bigbootybarbie on 11/2/09Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

Armin was great and Sasha, but the lines were ridiculious and the crowd get's angrier every year. It's not the same scene that it was years ago. People are more concerned with getting high rather than enjoying the music. And then when they stand in line they push and attack cops. It's almost not worth it anymore.

Ok but nothing close to other raves

by Luminous87 on 11/2/09Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

The terribly coordinated line and frustration it caused maybe for a bad beginning to the night, same can be said at getting into the main stage. The fact that there was a huge fight at a massive was pretty ridiculous. Overall the event was pretty good but EDC this past year pales monster massive in comparison, monster 08 was very well handled as well.

    Speachless... 8)

by zombieism on 11/2/09Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

I fee the event staff was unprepaired for the number of people awaiting to attend monster massive. around 10 pm they stopped letting people in for some reason and people started to go crazy, but shortly after all was sorted out and we got in. once inside, our pills were digested and we walked they layout of the event. not only were the stages huge and perfectly overlighted, but the smaller screens around the crowds added for an extra effect. not to mention the fire! highlight effect for everyone it seemed. you could feel the tention in the music created by the dj, one of the best line-ups ever, then 10 huge fire balls would shoot into the air creating daylight and warmth. top 3 raves i have attended for sure!

    Monster Massive = amazing

by imhighdeerawr on 11/1/09Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

Monster Massive was really great. but its better to get there early so you don't have to deal with long lines. i was in line for two hours. its kind of difficult to know how to get to the sports arena floor, security guards are kind of rude. but as long as you get to the floor its cool. they only let a certain amount of people into the sports arena so go early if that's where you want to go.

Monster Massive...Bigger does not mean better

by Tiesto1 on 11/1/09Los Angeles Sports Arena - Los Angeles

•monster massive is trully a great experience! •in my opinion the event just has grown 2 big to trully enjoy •VIP is the only way to travel, but I think a real VIP should have a little more center stage access than just the left corner! •I pay, you pay extra so we should benefit a little more than general addmission as far as the VIP view. Last but not least entrance, access & exit needs work but what can I say...I'm down for the crown! So I definately will purchase my ViP tickets as always*
