the show started at 7, racing did not start until after 7:30. the show was over just before 10pm. in this 3 hr time frame there was just about 1 hr of racing. the rest was just alot of talking. it got boring even to my 16 and 14 year olds.

  • The Supercross is always Unforgettable!!!

by Italygirl on 2/26/10Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I have been taking my kids to the Supercross for the last 7 years now and we have made it our tradition. We fell in love with it the first time we went. The kids love showing up to try to get autographs and have collected several through the years. to name a few like Chad Reed, Bubba Stewart, Ricky Carmichael, Mike LaRocco, Jeremy McGrath, and this year my son got Kevin Windham to sign his shirt . They put on an amazing show here in Indy and we will keep coming back every year. It is great fun! You meet so many fun and amazing people also. We had great seats this year also too. The key is to get towards the center and up high enough to see the whole track but not too high. Plus then you are in the club seats so you have the cushioned comfortable seats that are nice! ha ha The track is different every year so there is always something new to look forward too.

  • SUPERCROSS WAS EXCELLENT

THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST RACES I'VE BEEN TO IN A LONG TIME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO A RACE, IF THEY GET THE CHANCE.

  • The Best Day Ever

by SinnBadd on 2/25/10Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 10 year old son the Super Cross as we have been watching the coverage from Speed Channel from week to week. He has a dirt bike of his own and is really interested in the sport. So I bought tickest and we went. It was the first time we had been in the new Lucas Oil Stadium. It is a very nice venue. The track looked awesome as we watched some of the practice/qualifing. We purchased some Monster Energy swag and got to our seats for the heat races. My son sat in amazement as we watched racing. After the first couple of heat races my son turns to me and says, "This is the Best Day Ever". It was a proud moment any father would enjoy! We hope to go again nest year!

The 2010 Supercross in Indianapolis was as wonderful as always! Although the venue could use some improvements, we will continue to attend every chance we get.

  • Supercross rocked!!!!

    by momma732 on 2/23/10Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

This was my family's first time to go to a Supercross event. We had a blast! It was very hard to understand the announcer though, the speakers were very blurry sounding. Everything he said came out sounding like the teacher from a Charlie Brown episode. The racing was amazing! We found ourselves sitting on the edge of our seats cheering on the guys, and we didn't even KNOW any of them! The "half-time" show, with the trick riders was awesome. The was probably my son's favorite part. Of course, now he thinks with just a little practice he can flip his bike upside down too! Emergency Room here we come!!

by mpapa on 2/23/10Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

We went early to see riders, but could not and then we tried to get to our seats but could not because we must have not paid enough for them , the upper section was closed until five pm. So we mulled around and sat where we could until someone came to that seat. Wow at was fun!!!!!!!!! The racing and show were awesome but we left before the last race because our eys were buring and it was getting had to breath. If i do this ever again I will just buy one expensive ticket and send the boy with friends so he doesnt get a complex of unworth!!!!!!!!

  • The Racing was excellent

    by bd200 on 2/23/10Lucas Oil Stadium - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

From the time we walked into the beautiful new stadium, until we left the venue, we had a great time. Supercross is a great family event. The riders are great atheletes. There is always something happening. And it was in a controlled weather enviornment, being inside the dome. I recommend everyone go at least once, you will be hooked. The place isnt full of drunks like NASCAR, and the racing is way more exciting.
