  • Great venue, great race, logistical nightmare

by CtDMonet on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

The race was great, the fanfest was fun. Getting into fanfest was a clusterfrump. Seriously - first we are searched (fine), then we are stamped. Good to go? No - then we have to scan to enter our stadium tickets. Fine. Can we get into Fanfest? No - you have to enter the stadium, walk up the stairs to stadium, then back down another set of stairs to get to fanfest. But it's right there - can't I just walk there? NO! You must walk up the stairs and down the stairs to comply! Weather evacuation - you'd think they would have had practice last year. Two years in a row we are shuttled out of the stadium and back in. This year was slightly better - they still had no place for us to go -- mostly because of the up the stairs, down the stairs way we had to enter. Mass Exodus after the race. For some reason, they are not allowing anyone to exit the way we came in - over the tracks. Seriously, we got here early and parked RIGHT THERE. NO YOU MUST BE FUNNELED WITH THE REST OF THE CROWD TO THE TRAX STATION ENTRANCE!! But we drove here and parked right there - I can see my car? NO WAIT THROUGH A HALFHOUR OF A CROWD NOT MOVING TO FUNNEL THROUGH A SMALL GATE WHEN YOU AREN'T EVEN TAKING THE TRAIN! Again - it seems to fit the theme of cluster-logistics. A great race, lots of action - perfect weather (apart from a 5 minute thunderstorm that anyone looking at a weather app knew was barely hitting the stadium). $17 for nuts seems a little steep, but hey - they were some good pecans.

  • Crowd management nightmare

by Caroline on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 3 out of 5

The crowd management throughout the entirety of the event was horrible. This was especially highlighted when everyone needed to evacuate the bowl due to inclement weather. Crowds of people trapped shoulder to shoulder with no movement or direction on where the emergency staging points were. I will definitely think twice about coming to events here.

  • Good racing, horrible privateer pit setup

by Lifetime fan on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

Awesome as always but what you did for the privateer pits was messed up.

  • evacuation

by Radikal on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 3 out of 5

It would be nice if we were in a NFL or MLB stadium. The people were uninformed about the event or surrounding. We had to evacuate the stadium for second year in a row. This will be my last event at this venue.

  • Race awesome, pits, fan zone not so much.

by dghs on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 2 out of 5

We got to the races early so we could hang out in the pits and see the riders. After purchasing 5 pit passes which by the way, why do they charge for pit passes? We got to the fan zone and the small area that lead over to the pits was completely jammed with people standing watching a show. We tried for 45 minutes to get thru and finally gave up and went to our seats. Totally disappointed as these cost $75. Although the races were awesome, the total experience was disappointing especially after driving 6 hours to get there.

  • Awesome

by Mike on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 5 out of 5

AMA races were absolutely fantastic!!!!! Taking my daughter and grandkids to these races are a special time for me and will continue to go every year!!

  • Supercross great setup, not so good

by Monster energy supercross on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

The racing was great. The setup not so great. The stands outside were set too close. It bottle necked all the people couldn't get through either way crowd control was terrible.

  • Overall a good event

by Old-guy552 on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 4 out of 5

I liked the track design this year and getting to/from the stadium is simplified by riding TRAX (light rail) and your event ticket allowed you to ride the train for free. But the entry into the stadium from the west side was a mess. They had everyone entering through two gates and had blocked off the other 10+ gates which created a long line and a huge delay getting into the stadium. They need to come up with a different method of getting fans into the stadium.

  • needs improvement

by no name on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 2 out of 5

Evacuation protocol was beyond rediculous. Kept announcing to go into the concord, yet there was nowhere near enough room to fit us all in that area. But what was worse was the fan fest. There was no room to even walk anywhere to see anything. If I wanted to watch street bikes and funny cars, I would go to their event. Got into the fan fest section and couldn't move in and couldn't move back out.

  • Too crowded in the pit pass area

by Busy on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 2 out of 5

I love that it is in Salt Lake and love the support it gets, but do away with the burnout area and spread out the Pit area. So crowded it felt unsafe at times

  • Show was Great, Venue not so much

by Kiki702 on 5/14/24Rice-Eccles Stadium - Salt Lake CityRating: 3 out of 5

Supercross was awesome! However the stadium was less than ideal, between needing to wait in a separate line to get a wristband to be able to buy a beer then get in a different line to buy a beer and only one drink per person, of course all of those lines were a mile along. Then just the size of the stadium, the corridors during the busy times everybody was squished like sardines, barely even able to move or walk because it was so packed. It took me a good 10 minutes to try to walk from the bathroom to my section, and it was only about 3 sections away. Then because of the beer needing to be sold at its own vendor stands, the lines were crossing in front of all the restrooms making it even harder to get into the restrooms. Attending Supercross in Glendale, Arizona in comparison to this was way better just because of the venue. If you want to keep hosting this event in Salt Lake please find a better venue, otherwise please move it to another state altogether.

  • Good show

by Motoguy on 5/10/24Empower Field At Mile High - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Good show great track setup short concessions lines didn't like that you couldn't walk around the whole stadium on the outside

Great racing, well organized, not a dull moment and fun fan interaction.

  • event was fun

by Edward on 5/8/24Empower Field At Mile High - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

The event was super fun. Sadly Jett Lawrence autograph was only available to the wealthy who could afford to pay to get it:( They wouldn't even let Jett respond or sign a hat for my son. I am absolutely positive this isn't the type of person Jett is. But this is how Honda has become. My son just was so happy to be able to attend and was able to stand a few feet from Jett Lawrence on the poor side of the chains. It was enough to make my sons day. Unfortunately we were barley able to afford to go to supercross and attend fan fest. It would be nice if Honda would let Jett interact with everyone not just a few wealthy people. Saved our pennies for months. But all the other brands and riders were very nice and if you had a marker they would give you a autograph and a photo opportunity with them. So don't go to fan fest thinking you will be able to get Jett Lawrence autograph because it will just disappoint you. Be aware of this. Honda isn't letting that happen for free. And know that all other riders and brands are happy you came by and will do a autograph and photo op with you as well, no money needed

Motocross was awesome, I had a great time. I wish I could have gotten more autographs. Enjoyed spending the day with my family.

  • Great time

by Rae on 5/7/24Empower Field At Mile High - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

It was such a blast to watch a live race with my son. Entry was easy, the fan pass was fun and we had great seats. My only complaint would be about leaving the parking lot, as it took way too long to get out due to lack of people directing traffic. Can’t wait to go again next year.

  • Great event for the family

by 👍🏻 on 5/7/24Empower Field At Mile High - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Fan fest was better last year with the stunt riders but still fun with plenty to see and do. Main event was great absolute blast for the whole family.
