Mon Laferte on Tour
At Coachella 2019, Mon Laferte took the Main Stage wearing a chic red pin-up dress and playing a classic guitar. Then she unleashed her bluesy Latin rock, which rang out loud and confidently, while dancing in unison with her horn players. Laferte coursed through her latest album, Norma, and a Dua Lipa cover, and while this was a much bigger stage than she'd played at Lollapalooza Chile (where she'd shined in 2018), her delivery was more than powerful and emotionally charged enough to fill it. (Think of Amy Winehouse backed by a Tito Puente arrangement.) Chilean artists Javier Mena and Tomasa Del Real also played at Coachella, but make no mistake, the multi-platinum Laferte is the biggest star. She has toured with Colombian megastar Juanes, appeared at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl with CafĆ© Tacvba and sold out multiple headlining shows at Mexico City's 10,000-seat Auditorio Nacional. In 2019, Laferte undertook her stateside La Gira De Norma headlining tour. The venues are getting bigger, but so is her profile, and rightfully so ā the world had better be ready.Ā
Mon Laferte Background
Born in the coastal Chilean city of ViƱa Del Mar, Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte came up playing the Chilean bar circuit in nearby Valparaiso and Santiago. Then known as Monserrat Bustamante, the singer gained notoriety on the popular TV show Rojo and released her first album, La Chica de Rojo. A move to Mexico City in 2008 gave her a new beginning, and Mon Laferte was born. Laferte still calls Mexico City home, and she's become the most streamed Chilean artist of all time. Her hits "Tu Falta De Querer" and "AmƔrrame" (featuring Juanes) each have well over 100 million Spotify spins. The video for "AmƔrrame" has also been watched nearly 300 million times on YouTube, and the track won a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Song. She has four platinum records to her name, including 2018's Norma, produced by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of The Mars Volta.
For VIPs there could have been a tiny bit more interaction then just "picture next, picture next." We purchased "meet and greet" but you could barely say hi and no autographs. This is the only thing I did not like.
The concert was wonderful, Mon Laferte is so cool. However, The Fillmore was super cold, I felt uncomfortable there.
It was good but could had been better show. More dancing or more show. Get people engaged
This concert was so much fun! Her personality really shines thru & the band is just as talented! You are sure to dance, sing, laugh, & just have a memerable time con Mon!

From the start to the end of show Mon was full throttle action and not stop. Singing her heart out every song that she did that night.....you will be not be disappointment if you attend her show. Will be seen her again when she passes by San Antonio.
Mon gave a tremendous performance and the venue was great also. I would definitely recommend!
Saw Mon Laferte at Aztec Theatre - beautiful location. Lines moved fast, security was great, show was PHENOMENAL. Thanks Mon, love ya girl! I will remember that night for my entire life. So glad to have made it happen.
The concert like all her shows was amazing. What wasnāt good was the meet and greet. To pay $100 for a quick 30 seconds to say Hi with a digital picture emailed was definitely not worth the time and price. Most would allow one item to be autographed or at least a minute to say something to the artist. It was pressure and not enjoyable.
They had us line up at 5:30pm for a meet and greet that didnāt begin until 7:30. Then they had us waiting outside in the miserable Houston heat. We paid $240 for this experience. But yet weāre all stinky and sweaty before we got to meet her. Concert said start time was 8:30pm. But it didnāt start until 9 if there was a change in time. It would have been nice to know that way I knew I had time to grab something to eat. But no I was rushing.
Amazing singer with a great voice and has a good show.
Sheās an amazing artist, she sounds great vocally and musically. What a great band she has with her as well and I definitely recommend bring her back for the near future if you can because sheās definitely again like fine!!! Iāll definitely be seeing her every time she comes to Houston
I love this girl, everything was great her band are awesome, all of the people in charge do this concert was amazing.
Loved my seats in section 103 and for that price they were very much worth it! I wish seats 103A were available to purchase..apparently they weren't available for anyone ;( Also I purchased two parking tickets that didn't work at the Lyric parking garage (one was for me and another for my sister) we ended up riding together and neither one of the tickets worked...ended up paying for 3rd parking ticket š” But other than that I was very happy with the concert itself š I will see her again!
Mon LaFerte was absolutely what I anticipated. Our usher was so very helpful.
What can I say she put a hell of a show need to have her come back soon
I had a wonderful time at the concert however the meet and greet process could have been a bit better we were almost pushed out of there so quickly we didnāt really get a chance to tell her much and we paid good money to meet her... we could have spent more time w her rather than being pushed out.
Loved The Concert Amazing Time With My Ex Husband This Would Be Our Last Concert Going Together But Every Song She Sang Was Amazing
Great performance by Laferte and her band members. The sound from the stage was perfectly engineered. Loud enough but not overwhelmingly loud nor unnecessarily distorted. Great crowd who clearly was there to celebrate the music.
All experience was awesome, but if can just ask for something it will be to have more time with the artist or at least to get her autograph.
