Mon Laferte on Tour
At Coachella 2019, Mon Laferte took the Main Stage wearing a chic red pin-up dress and playing a classic guitar. Then she unleashed her bluesy Latin rock, which rang out loud and confidently, while dancing in unison with her horn players. Laferte coursed through her latest album, Norma, and a Dua Lipa cover, and while this was a much bigger stage than she'd played at Lollapalooza Chile (where she'd shined in 2018), her delivery was more than powerful and emotionally charged enough to fill it. (Think of Amy Winehouse backed by a Tito Puente arrangement.) Chilean artists Javier Mena and Tomasa Del Real also played at Coachella, but make no mistake, the multi-platinum Laferte is the biggest star. She has toured with Colombian megastar Juanes, appeared at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl with Café Tacvba and sold out multiple headlining shows at Mexico City's 10,000-seat Auditorio Nacional. In 2019, Laferte undertook her stateside La Gira De Norma headlining tour. The venues are getting bigger, but so is her profile, and rightfully so — the world had better be ready.
Mon Laferte Background
Born in the coastal Chilean city of Viña Del Mar, Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte came up playing the Chilean bar circuit in nearby Valparaiso and Santiago. Then known as Monserrat Bustamante, the singer gained notoriety on the popular TV show Rojo and released her first album, La Chica de Rojo. A move to Mexico City in 2008 gave her a new beginning, and Mon Laferte was born. Laferte still calls Mexico City home, and she's become the most streamed Chilean artist of all time. Her hits "Tu Falta De Querer" and "Amárrame" (featuring Juanes) each have well over 100 million Spotify spins. The video for "Amárrame" has also been watched nearly 300 million times on YouTube, and the track won a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Song. She has four platinum records to her name, including 2018's Norma, produced by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of The Mars Volta.
Amazing performance, by a very unique singer. She has an an incredible voice and authentic way to sing. The theater made the performance much more intimate allowing us to hear that angelical voice.
We were front row, it’s right in front of the stage. Not like those places that the front row is still 10 feet or more away. It was amazing. Greek Theater is the place to be, fresh air and perfect seating. Gracias Mon por el conciertazo que te aventaste. Nos Vemos cuando regreses.
She was amazing, the sound quality was perfect for an open auditorium, I will definitely come back to the Greek theater.
Mon Laferte is truly an artist. I have been to about 15 concert and she is one of the only artist I will go back and see every concert she has. She is super amazing and gives an outstanding performance she is worth every penny plus more. She is the only artist who has ever sang for more than an hour, played different instruments while singing, she is truly incredible.
Seats had part of the stage cut off so that was the only bad thing. Artist put on a great show

I've been following Mon since her free show on the Santa Monica Pier. She's a chameleon musically and so prolific, it would take a multi-night stand to really showcase her various musical adventures. But the current set gives it a good shot. There are deep cuts from a decade or more past and re-imaginings of more recent material, all anchored by her own iconic epics. But seriously, that multi-night stand would be a good idea.
Mon Laferte is hands down the most talented most beautiful person on planet earth! Her music is so deep and her performances are breathtaking. The entrance to get to the venue was packed with traffic it was insane! Super thankful the show didn’t start until 8:45 which was perfect, yes we were late because of how congested the area was to get there. Besides that everything was amazing

We loved how everyone sang along as she belted out every song! Her performance was outstanding!!! Thank you for bringing her to McAllen! One more artist on my bucket list...can't wait to hear her again soon!!!

The concert too short. The drinks too expensive. I understand we in a bar (Nigth club) but come on. You don’t need to take the money in one drink
We were blown away by her 1st time appearance in Mcallen, Texas! Her voice is extraordinary and her songs hit home for many women who have had relationship issues. I for one, will definitely keep an eye out for her next out of this world performance. I hope she comes back to us soon.

Mon is the best of all! This is the 2nd time I see her and she is simply amazing. I love her voice and all her songs. I hope she continues to tour because I can't wait to see her again. Shes my fav of all artists.
I went to Mon's concert in the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City. It was her first performance of her new tour and it was amazing. The place was packed house. Like 10k people strong. And como siempre, she gave an awesome performance. She is a really great artist and performer. I will remember this concert for a long time.
