I have never seen a dance presentation such as Momix Botanica. It is the most fantastic and the best dance performance I have ever seen. It was like a book about nature and life and death in nature. All ages would enjoy. Loved it!
Some dance troupes, like jam bands, tend to indulge themselves in endless demonstrations of their abilities ("wow, look what I can do!"). Not Momix. While Momix Botanica was certainly amazing as a dance performance, it was an integrated concept expressed through dance, visuals and music that really did "wow" the audience. It was not just a series of "hey, look at me!" moments. I have heard much more frequent interruptions of performances for applause-begging feats than for Momix, but have rarely heard the kind of sincere standing ovations given Momix at the end of their show.
