I only came to hear of Modi about a year ago on Instagram and immediately started looking forward to seeing him. Was thrilled to be sitting in the front row to see him last week at Count Basie in Red Bank, NJ. I laughed so hard that I had tears in my eyes. EVERYTHING he speaks about in terms of the differences in and between the Jewish communities is so true and so funny. The audience was filled with us all, and we laughed at and with each other. In my opinion, that is the essence of comedy--to be able to laugh at ourselves and others in good fun. And making people laugh isn't easy. It's a gift. And Modi has that gift, and I hope he'll be making us all laugh for many more years to come.

I've never seen Modi live and wasn't sure what to expect. Well, what an incredible treat! Modi gave the most amazing performance and had the entire audience in stiches. Days later, I'm still laughing. Such an incredible performer!

Modi’s show was simply fantastic. The energy started outside with throngs of people all walking towards the theatre happy and excited to see him. He does not disappoint!! Modi’s look, style, sound, commentary - he’s in that Seinfeld category of clever, intelligent humor without being derogatory. The entire audience gave off a happy vibe, laughing straight thru his set. Can’t wait to see him again. Complete feel-good show.

From the moment he stepped onstage, MODI kept us laughing the entire show! Not only do I highly recommend you see him, I would definitely go to more of his performances myself in the future.

Modi takes control of his audience and won’t let go ! Couldn’t stop laughing the whole show . The really funny part is that he only speaks the truth which transcends all religions. You don’t need to be Jewish to appreciate the genius of Modi Rosenfeld !!!! I love Modi !!!!!!!!!!!

Modi is absolutely one of the funniest people on the planet. I laughed so hard I was crying. His humor is absolutely the best and if you get a chance to see him run do not walk. You will be blown away. He is amazing.

If you're Jewish and you associate at all, you will die laughing.

We got to the venue half an hr before the show was scheduled to start. The lines were outrageous. The line went a mile long (I kid you not), until we finally made it thru security. Good thing the weather was decent. No where on ticketmaster did it say what time doors open or a suggestion of how long it would take to enter. Start time was called for 4pm. Opening act didn't start until 4:20. Elon Altman was really good. Seats were chairs lined up which were uncomfortable. And since it was flat and not stadium seating it was hard to see the stage over the people in front of us. Once Modi made it on stage... We really enjoyed. Great act. Lots of good laughs. Nice interaction with audience.

Modi had us convulsed with laughter for the entire time that was performing onstage. The show’s title was “Know Your Audience “ and boy, did he ever!

Absolutely amazing! He was funny and on-point! It was beautiful to sit with hundreds of Jews of all backgrounds and levels of religious observance and laugh about the same things. I couldn't believe that an hour and forty minutes had gone! When the room stood for Hatikvah to close the show, we all sang and cried and felt pride together! Can't wait to see him again.

If you were raised in a traditional Jewish family, and you enjoy laughing at the funny side of Jewish life, MODI’s stand up comedy is a must attend event! If you’re a goy, forget it… you just won’t understand what he’s talking about.
