  • modestep showing the love!

by MissRoT on 4/8/13House of Blues Chicago - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Modestep had energy from beginning to end which radiated into the audience. Modestep gave us a little bit of everything- showcasing their skills with variations of their hits plus remixes of hits from Knife Party to Coldplay to The Prodigy and Rage Against the Machine. A must see everytime!

  • Modestep was SO SICK!

    by Sparky17113 on 3/30/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was the sickest concert I've been to in a long time. Awesome Awesome show! High energy! Loved it!

Awesome. Modestep killed it! I will definitely go to another show as soon as they are back around.

  • Great but too short!

    by agame33 on 3/29/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

They killed it, but the entire concert including the warmup act was only 3 hours. Never been to an edm concert that short. It was listed on another site as ending at 2 am, but ended at midnight. Wish the ticket had been more clear on the ending time on Ticketmaster. However Modestep can't be held accountable. Their energy was unbelievable, and they really had a great interaction with the audience. The opening DJ was either not being allowed to fully dj, or was simply not great.

  • Modestep, the bass killer!!!

by Amkee on 3/29/13Webster Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The music was unforgettable, now all Modestep needs to work on is the length of their set. Besides that, I would not pass up an opportunity to see them live, it will blow you away.

  • Worth the wait

    by dougc84 on 3/28/13The National - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5

While Modestep was an amazing live act, the evening was far too long and the opening DJs actually got progressively worse as the evening continued. Modestep didn't come on stage until 11:30, and finally left around 12:30. I've never been to a show that's kept me later than about 11:30. Not to say it was bad, but it just was not anticipated. The first DJ was actually really solid, mixed very well. By the time the third DJ started (the final one before Modestep), my friend and I were sick of it. And opening up with a version of Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner... that was being scratched and "remixed" (out of time, I might add) was horribly disappointing and borderline offensive. That being said, Modestep was outrageously solid (though the guitarist was a bit messy with his playing). It was totally worth the wait.

  • modestep is freaking awesome

by mrbigjonstud on 3/24/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

They are so exciting to see live, I love the live instruments with rock style mixed with the electronic style of dubstep. They even rock styled a few popular EDM songs that weren't theirs and that was exciting too :) definitely would see them again. loved it :)

  • modestep, hands down best show

by dubx on 12/13/11The Music Box - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

The two acts before modestep weren't that great only because the sound was very low and wasn't turned up until modestep came on. Modestep's performance though was the most entertaining show I have ever been to. The enthusiasm in the crowd and just modestep being awesome combined for a great performance. I Would definitely recommend seeing modestep whenever they are around.

by Leanahh on 12/12/11The Music Box - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Modestep killed it; it was probably one of my best nights if not, THE best night ever, for me at the Music Box. The crowd was great, the band was amazing, the energy was crazy, there was so much love for Modestep. I wish the night never ended! It was their second live performance in the United States and I really do hope they come back soon :D

  • Modestep first time in the USA from the UK

by OneOriginalMAC on 12/12/11The Music Box - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

Jam3s K3nn3dy was killing it! I took the train from Fullerton in Orange County to get to the venue. Very easy. I mainly came to check out Modestep. Wow they were good and know how to keep fans screaming for more. Nothing is better than being walked out on and after everyone was screaming for one last track, they came right back for a finish after that long tease. Thats love. They stayed to sign and take pics, always nice to have the artists do that for the fans. Amazing show overall. The venue size is good. On a personal level.

  • i would give my leg to them play again!

  • Modsetp Rocked it!!

by Anonymous on 12/12/11The Music Box - HollywoodRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing! Modsetp did such a good job! The Opening acts were good as well! The venue on the other hand had a few things that they need notes on. To have a Bathroom attendant is a little much for this venue. Especially for an Event like this one. 40% of attendees had never been in a place with that feature. It just made the bathrooms more Crowded, But I guess it's a Tagging Deterrent, so that a plus. Parking was Ridiculous, $20 bucks! but it made up for it, cause w got to sit in our Car Drinking, instead of standing in Line in the Cold. Bar Service was ok, Prices high but that's expected. But what got me was at the end of the night they would even serve water or Ice with out me having to make a bit of scene. Kinda bullshit. I'm pretty sure the only reason I got a cup of Ice was because I was waiting to Close out my Bar Tab. Which got over $100. Oh and they don't know how to make Tokyo Ice-teas, Which my girlfriend as drinking.

One of the best shows I've seen. Live dubstep with a four-piece band is not to be underestimated.

  • MODESTEP=FILTHY

    by jboogie90 on 12/12/11The Music Box - HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5

The show was epic. One of the best shows I've been to in a while! If they ever come back I'm most def I will be at their show again. Love how they are able to keep all the instruments in sync with one another to give the best bass experience ever. Every single they played had my chest trembling from the bass it was amazing!
