MMR*B*Q in Concert

Join Philadelphia's rock authority for an all-day concert featuring big names and hot up-and-comers at MMR*B*Q. Riff-heavy experimentalists Shinedown and goth-rockers Evanescence head this year's lineup of bands at the BB&T Pavilion.

Shinedown's crushing "Devil," from their 2018 album Attention Attention, was Billboard's No. 2 Mainstream Rock song of 2018, while tracks like the brooding "Second Chance" and the electro-tinged "Cut the Cord" have defined 21st-century guitar music. Evanescence, led by defiant belter Amy Lee, re-emerged in 2018 with Synthesis Live, which showcased orchestral reimaginings of hits like "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal."

The rest of the MMR*B*Q lineup is chock full of exciting bands. That includes British rockers The Struts, who have updated glam-rock's outrageous styles and huge hooks for the streaming-music era. Their 2018 sophomore album Young & Dangerous swaggered its way into critics' hearts.

Fozzy, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2019, spotlights the over-the-top charisma and heavyweight pipes of wrestling superstar Chris Jericho. Metal supergroup Bad Wolves, which features Snot vocalist Tommy Vext, hit No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock chart with their storming cover of The Cranberries' "Zombie" in 2018. And Canadian quintet The Glorious Sons will bring their Juno-winning 2017 album Young Beauties and Fools to the BB&T Pavilion stage.

Rock legend Joan Jett will perform hits like "I Love Rock & Roll" and "I Hate Myself for Loving You" with her long-running band The Blackhearts. And the day kicks off with Siravo, the Philly quartet who have been tagged as this year's Jaxon Local Shots opener. The four-piece released their latest album, The Restless & the Mad, in September 2018, and its chugging riffs and hard-hitting cover of Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4" helped make them Jaxon's Local Shots Artist of the Month that month.

Tickets for MMR*B*Q are general admission for the first portion of the show, while seats for the four headlining bands will be assigned. Please note this when selecting your ticket.

    Less is sometimes more!!!

The Headliner should NOT be worried about a curfew! Could've kied an earlier act, and end the festival at 11:00 ( a solid 8 hours), instead of Rob Zombie playing a shorten set. The GA seating went a little too long, and caused "issues", in the Pit. JBE killed, would've like them to go longer.

    Zombie rocked!

Zombie rocked as usual. He did not bring his monsters though. MMR should have paid him more maybe. First time seeing Volbeat. They were good. Producers of show should have had Dropkick Murpheys in the Jason Bonham slot. I can see a Led Zepplin tribute band anytime. He should stop making money off his dad.
