    Goo Goo Dolls were awesome!

by kkmb on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

Started out with Steven Page - he sounded good but no one cared. Then Kris Allen who did a good job but played only 3 songs - same with special guest Maroon 5. I wanted the GGD though so I was happy they played so briefly. Spill Canvas and Switchtoot were okay but played forever and aren't my favorite. But the set changes went quickly, the bathrooms were good, the venue was cool, and the GGD were awesome. Played every one of their hits. I had a blast.

    Awesome!

by LMS68 on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

Just want to thank Mix 104.1 for putting on a great show last night. I danced as I walked in and it got better from there. I took my 14 and16 year old girls with my boyfriend and me. At first the girls tried to pretend they didn't know me, but at some point I think I was ok to hang with and maybe a little cool. This was their first concert and it was perfect. The bands were great and the venue was perfect. To me, the night was magical! See you at the next one.

Longer acts in the first half!

by Kristin26 on 8/3/10Bank of America Pavilion - Boston

I thought the lineup was great but I was really disappointed in the length of the acts in the first half. Kris Allen was billed as one of the headliners but he only played for 10 minutes and 3 songs...what was up with that?! And while I thought Maroon 5 was a great surprise act, it seemed kind of crazy that there was so much hype for them to only play two songs. I really didn't care about the Spill Canvas at all (and they were almost never even mentioned on the radio in promotions) but they got to play longer than Kris and Maroon 5 combined! I would have enjoyed the concert a lot more if the acts had been more evenly distributed.

One of the best MixFests I have been to in recent years.
