Reagan Browne was okay, but not the right act for an oldies rock n roll show. Screaming isn't singing to me.
Badfnger (Joey Molland) was really good. Whoever the white-haired guy who played guitar for Badfinger and Mitch Ryder was very, very good.
Mitch Ryder looked like he was higher than a kite, but didn't miss any words and his timing was perfect. He sang almost as good as he did forty years ago, but it could have been anyone under that hat and behind those glasses. Couldn't see him.
Rare Earth was okay. I have no idea who the front guy was, but since both of the group's two lead singers are dead, if he's an original member, he could only be Gil Bridges.
The problem with Badfinger and Rare Earth is that anyone can play the music. To have the sound, you've got to have the singer. Credence Clearwater Revisited (CCR) versus John Fogerty proves my point.
WAR was really good and always gets the place rockin'. Lonnie Jordan is a little too full of himself, but he puts on a very good show.
I had a great time at the concert. It was worth more than the admission price.
