The seats were very uncomfortable and when you are on the 6th floor and the womens restroom is on 3 it's not that great. Thankfully Colbie and The Fray were so good that it made it worth the wait. There were also many people who came just to see the Fray and were talking (loudly) during the other acts which was very rude. I would probably not attend another event like this one again.
All good, Kris was great and time allotted for him was too short. Fray was great.... Too much downtime between acts...Would have been better to have 2 acts, 3 tops.
Great music but disappointed in change of venue. We went to concert last year at Chicago Theatre and acoustics great. We got our tickets 30 minutes after on sale and were in the last row of the 6th out of 7th level. Nosebleed seats for sure adn accoustics were poor. Poor guy on first act - a good break to play here and his speakers went out 1/2 way through. We'll continue to support Eric/Kathy's show but would think twice if at same venue.
Overall, the show was great - the performers were all excellent. I would love to see another show by any of those performers again - especially the Fray and Colby Caillat. This was my second Miracle on/near State Street show, and both were great. My only recommendation to others seeking tickets at the Auditorium Theater is to sacrifice a few extra bucks for better seats. We sat in the highest section and while we could still see the show and the music was great, the acoustics were a little off and it wasn't as loud as I thought it should have been.
Overall the concert was good but very disappointed in the length of the time that The Fray played and also in the abrubtness of their ending. They were only on stage for about 50 minutes and never came back for on stage once their first set was completed. I have never been to a concert before where the headliners did not come back to play a couple of songs. I would suggest that the number of groups be cut down from 4 to 3 and that the headliner be allowed to come back out!
Great show! They could have skipped the first act, but everyone else was great! I was rather disappointed that I paid the mid-level price and was seated about as far up in the theater as you can possibly go - but that's not the band's fault.
It took way to long in between performers/the setup. You could tell that the audience was getting restless. Also for a theatre that said no camera flashing during perfomances that was quite annoying with all the cameras going off.
THE FRAY WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZINNNNGGG as usual! although i wish i had front row again as i did when they were in tinley park this past summer but overall every performer did phenomenal!
It was a great show. The auditorium had such great acoustics. I just wish Kris Allen could have played a couple more songs.
Awesome show...especially in the Auditorium Theatre!!!! All the performers Rocked the house and it was incredible to see them in this type of Venue. Kris Allen's performance was Unforgettable. The Fray and Colbie are amazing. Definetly worth every penny and it went to a great cause.
I loved kris allen. he's dreamy, and a really good singer, i would have loved for him to sing more songs though. Colbie was good too she kinda danced awkwardly though, but either way i love her music. Da fray was amazing as always, i saw them over the summer and it was awesome! They always put on a good show and their music is amazing.
I met Kris Allen before the concert walking with my three friends and got a picture and autograph. That started my night off with a bang and the concert only proved to be as good.
The headliner was the fray. They played for less than an hour and did no encore. As soon as they went off the stage lights came on and the stage started to get taken down.
The Fray was GREAT! Kris Allen the Idol? Very Sad!
i think colbie callait should have been before kris allen. her music was quiter and more sleepy. not something you wanna hear before the fray. but either way all the artists were awesome. wish i could have heard more kris allen tho!
Loved the concert! Joshua Radin was really good, but I wished he performed at least one of his older songs, but I am sure it was hard since he was on for a short time. Kris Allen was also great. I am also now a huge fan of Colbie Caillat. She has such an amazing voice live and her songs are so great. And of course the highlight of the night was The Fray. They are just so awesome live, I can't wait to see them again. Just amazing!
I think Auditorium Theatre is a great venue. It is easy to get in and out and the sound is good. I liked the number of songs each act played.
We missed Kris Allen but Colbie Caillat and The Fray were great.
This was absolutely the best concert I have ever seen! The Fray was amazing! So was Kris Allen, Colbie Caillat, and Joshua Radin!
From top to bottom, everything was great. Everyone sounded fantastic. I will definately tell freinds to go to shows like this in the future.
