Actually found the upper level seating to be more comfortable and it provided an excellent view of the overall play. Also, less crowded bathrooms and concessions. Free hot dog, pop, and chips makes these an excellent value. Would do again.
Everything was wonderful, location was great, view of game was good, and I would definitely do this again.
The seats (even in the upper level) were great -- there really isn't a bad place to sit at the X.. The other fans who sat around us were there to enjoy the game so it was a fun crowd to be around, Would have loved to see a win, but hey, no complaints!!
Our Minnesota Wild are on a roll! We are very excited with how the season is rolling however this night was not in our favor. We witnessed a loss to a mediocre team and that is disappointing especially when the night before we scored three goals in under 3 minutes against Dallas. Overall a great deal with the FSN Sports pack ticket and a meal for $42 each.
I am 38 years old, I am not an old fart yet, but I think I am done going to Wild games at The X because the noise is too much. Way, way, way too loud. The music between play is loud and terrible... I am and avid hockey fan, and watch nearly all the games at home. This is the 3rd games I attended this year, each time I have walked away with a headache. Lesser of the two complaints, but still bothers me: The two chicks that never stop talking on between play/at intermission up on the scoreboard = as annoying as fingernails on a chalkboard. Blondie "FSN girl" is only slightly tolerable.
Not a bad seat anywhere in the xcel. The food was good.
There is no better venue in mn then Xcel. Can't wait to go again. To bad the wild lost.
I thought it would be great to get the meal deal (hotdog chips and pop) with our tickets. Not so great. The two concession stands the meal tickets can be redeemed at didn't have hot dogs or chips. We had to wait around for 30 minutes for someone to bring hot dogs to the concession stand. And even then they only brought the hot dogs, no chips. So while I LOVED watching the Wild, I didn't care so much for the meal deal.
Good seats, great game, great price. Cant beat that!
great game and package deal! pop, chips and hot dog included with seat were a good start to a meal and ended up saving us money highly recommend sitting on the side of the rink, any level is good
The Wild lost and customer service at Xcel was lacking but it's fun to go to the games.
I bought he FSN pack; two tickets, two hot dogs, two small pops, and two bags of chips for $60. It was a great deal!
2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas and 2 bags of chips for $100....Can't beat it!!! Great date night for my wife and I... the W topped it all off :)
Excellent seats! Great game!! However, the hotdogs given for the "coupon" attached to our tickets were very dried up and the buns smashed.
First time to attend a live NHL hockey game,Awesome
