I have missed only 2 state gymnastic tournaments since 1975- this is the BEST venue. I just wish I could still BUY a program instead of downloading!!!!
Minnesota has some of the best high school gymnasts in the country! This year’s meet was very enjoyable, with lots of excitement and the meet itself ran flawlessly. Kudos to all involved!
Poor set up for this event. The Roy was very warm both days. The place stink likes grease from the concessions stands. It’s very dated.

Gymnasts that are on the participating teams ( but non competing) should not have to pay to watch their teammates. They have to sit up in the stands and are not allowed to bring in any food or beverage so are forced to buy the expensive and unhealthy food there...for 2 days!!!
IT was an overall very enjoyable experience! The staff were friendly and there was plenty of beverage and food options! I had a wonderful coffee that hit the spot! The parking was close by and the walk was simple. Getting tickets online was a bit of a challenge but having it on my phone was nice.
There were so many talented girls. It was amazing. Congratulations to all of them for making it to State. Congratulations to Watertown-Mayer for winning the Class A Championship and Wayzata for winning the Class AA Championship. Congratulations to Regan Kelly for winning the All-Around Medal in Class A. Very proud of you and all the Watertown-Mayer girls. Great job! The only issue I had was not being able to see the judges' scores. Some of them were not displayed so everyone could see and for no length of time.
