This tournament is one of the most fun events to attend; especially with a kid about to enter high school or even younger or already at one in the tournament! My only caveat is that I would say be diligent if Ticketmaster app purchasing.
Couldn't have been more entertained than I was at the Class A semifinals and finals this year. Class A hockey just keeps improving and getting more competitive! What makes it better is more people are realizing this and attending the games which in turn brings more energy and excitement to the building.
Best sporting event in the world. I travel from the Milwaukee, WI area to see the hockey at both levels.
Absolutely fantastic hockey, and great atmosphere. The Minnesota State Hockey tournament never disappoints, the players the fans the venue are all top notch. With the expo happening next door and the spirit of the festivities in town that weekend it’s incredible. The only hockey event that comes close is the NCAA frozen four, but that isn’t as family friendly.
We were only able to attend the A Hockey tournament. We were not able to get tickets to the AA tournament games. This was frustrating. We were planning to stay up there for the whole 4 days of the tournament and we were only able to attend half of the games. There should be an easier way for hockey fans to get tickets for the AA hockey games as well.
Tremendous talent on display. Cannot beat the value for the price. I will be there every year!
As always, the MN Boys State Hockey Tournament was as great event and a fun opportunity to reconnect with friends -- as well as watching some very good hockey games.
I liked the notifications that I received especially about the rules for what I could or couldn’t bring it. Happy to have that information before I got to the gate.
Had a great time with my sister at the game! We were right above the student section for Hermantown and the energy in the building was unreal! Truly is the state of hockey!
The Minnesota State High School Boys Hockey Tournament has been a part of this state's sports landscape since 1945 and this year did not disappoint. I saw the Warroad Warriors face the Hermantown Hawks in the Class A final and it was a great game. The talent level as well as the goaltending was outstanding. Before or after the game, stop by the Let's Play Hockey Expo at the adjacent RiverCentre and you'll have a full day in the State of Hockey.
