Mindy Smith Tickets

I loved the intimate setting of the Cambridge Room at the Dallas House of Blues. The acoustics were great and the music was at just the right volume. Mindy Smith skillfully performed her music and warmly interacted with the audience between songs. The fact that she came out after the show to sell and sign CDs and other items, pose for photos with fans, and just visit for a while was fantastic. It's a neat experience for the fans. The only thing that keeps me from giving the evening 5 stars is that I would have liked a more full band. The addition of drums and bass would've made the show amazing.

Wasn't sure quite what to expect since I had never seen her live before. Been listening to her first CD for years now and just recently got the new one. Really enjoyed her telling stories about some of the songs - they had entirely different meanings than what I thought they did which was kind of cool. I also lost my mom to breast cancer so the songs took on a completely new meaning for me.

What a fantastic artist and performance. She was funny, poignant with her storytelling. Her vocals were stunningly crisp and clear. The best two-person acoustic show ever. Her tenor guitarist added depth.
