    Disappointed with Mindy, Loved Vincent

by Karla on 12/13/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

We signed up for the pre show wine tasting and felt it was a complete rip off. Just a not so enjoyable commercial that started 45 minutes late. The show itself was pretty lame wihh th mediocre acoustics. However, when Vincent Ingala did his set it was wonderful. High energy, great sound and full throttle. Saved the night for us.

    Great show!

by ConcertGuy1 on 12/13/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Really enjoyed this show! I'm not specifically a fan of Mindy Abair, but her performance and this lineup with Vincent Ingala on sax, Adam Hawley on guitar, and Lindsey Webster on vocals, backed by solid drums, bass, and keys, made for a very entertaining show. Lots of energy and talent. They not only did Christmas songs, but some of each of the featured performer's hits. I really enjoyed it!

    Mindi Abair Cincinnati 12/10/2022

by Cincy Stogie on 12/13/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Mindi Abair is one of my favorites. Probably have seen her 15 times over the past 15 years. Her mates, vincent ingala, adam hawley and lindsay webster are all very skilled musicians as well. The sound at ludlow garage was terrible. Oftentimes you could not even hear the vocals. The bass and drums were so loud. Either the sound board or sound man is the blame on that one. The only other thing i will add are seats against the far wall. Terrible. Dont waste your money. Go back, more towards middle.

All I can say is the show was awesome. One of the best concerts I’ve seen in years. Please bring that same crew back next year. Lindsay Webster has an awesome voice. All the performers were outstanding.

Mindi and The Boneshakers were incredible in Pontiac, Michigan last Saturday. Mindi can play the sax like no other....so smooth, so soulful. The Boneshakers had a tremendous groove and together they all rocked the theater. The chemistry on stage was infectious. My husband and I had so so much fun. Fantastic concert!!

Concert was awesome and very intimate (small theater) loved it! I would absolutely go back to this venue in a heartbeat and to see this Mindi and the Boneshakers again! Thank you!!!

Not sure why the house wasn’t sold out, but Mindi and the Bone Shakers played as though they were playing to a full house. Entertaining and prolific. Can’t wait to see her again. She plays pretty good for a girl. 😂

    Jazz-Funk Experience

by Ken E. on 8/23/22Flagstar Strand Theatre for the Performing Arts - Pontiac

I liked it, she did a nice job. She has more "funk" on stage then on her CDs and I like that! Also the venue was a good choice for this type of concert a little more intimate. Had a good time.

    Worth every nickel

by Plcjr on 6/9/19Birchmere - Alexandria

Worth every nickel. The music flowed well. There was a little banter in between songs, just enough. Tight, solid band. Mindi’s saxophone playing was unreal
