About

milk. on Tour

It's a brave new world for pop music. In this new era, four-piece Irish pop outfit milk. is paving the way for a popular music revolution -- a revolution that will be digitized. Layering upbeat rhythms, europop instrumentation and wispy synthesized vocals, milk. explores the fountainhead of modern pop music with an eye toward the digital future. The Dublin-based quartet found early success with the popular release of their first single "Drama Queen" -- a dreamy, ethereal banger released online in 2019. Uploaded to Spotify via independent online music distributor CD Baby, and produced by friend of the band Adam Redmond, "Drama Queen" was the band's first foray into DIY musical collaboration and production. Performing around Ireland on the popularity of "Drama Queen," milk. subsequently wrote and released four more singles and an EP online, before the COVID-19 pandemic shuddered the doors of local venues in 2020. Leaning into the digital space, milk. members continued to collaborate on tracks and found a creative stride in quarantine. Fresh out of lockdown, with a trove of new effervescent pop anthems, milk. sets out on their international tour in 2023, playing venues in Ireland, the UK and the United States. Be sure to catch them live when they come to a city near you.

milk. Live in Concert

As is true of many young bands, milk. members Mark McKenna, Conor "Gormy" Gorman, Conor King, and Morgan Wilson all met in college. Having collaborated on earlier projects, McKenna and Gorman brought King and Wilson into the picture in 2017 and milk. was born. Sharing a fondness for the city of Dublin, and a devotion to all things pop music, the foursome set to work in 2019, honing lyrics written by McKenna into their vibey first single "Drama Queen." Though it's hard to drum up comparisons, the tone of their first single has echoes of English pop group The 1975 and English rock band The Cure. After finding a following online from the digital release of "Drama Queen," the members of milk. continued creating music exclusively online, through the duration of the COVID-19 lockdown. Producing music remotely during that challenging time, the band members seriously contemplated what it might mean to be an internet band exclusively. Never scared of failure, milk. released two singles and 1, the EP in 2020. Shortly after the removal of lockdown restrictions, the band released 2, the EP on Spotify in August 2021.

    Great show!!

by MandyBrooklin on 12/17/23Marquis - Denver

All three of the acts were GREAT!!!! LOVED every minute of this concert. The venue was a bit cold because they left the front door open, but other than that no issues with the venue or concert.
