Love PBR. Maybe not st this venue. Could not understand one thing the announcer said the whole night. Terrible acoustics. No timer for the rides? No names or rider info on the screens and again no timer on the screens. Seats were good and blind spot was covered by showing on the screen. Lots of good food choices and good beer and alcohol choices.
My wife and I have followed the PBR since it formed 25 years ago. We attended events on many occasions and enjoyed the experiences. This event was the first that I had attended since my wife passed last year. I attended by myself this time. I still enjoy watching the bull riding for the honest competition between cowboy and bull. This time, though, was not as much fun as in the past. The announcer had his volume cranked up too high, which made it difficult to understand what he was saying. I think, in the future, I will watch the events on television, where I can control the volume, pause the action to allow for a trip to the refrigerator or bathroom. And I can watch from a comfortable chair - not a folding chair.
Prescott Valley Event Center facility and staff are top notch! Very helpful and friendly and there is not a bad seat in the house! I highly recommend this PBR event!
Last year was the first time I attended and I didnt expect to have a lot of fun. However, after attending this was one of the best nights out with friends. Going back this year!
We got some of the lower end price tickets and had a great time. It was fun to get out of the house and see the event. Concession was kind of high but most places are like that so it was not shocking at all when we got to the window.
the event was great, have been before many times. Why can't the promoters announce the event so we can understand and hear them. Why can't the scoreboard be used to list names, show time, etc? We couldn't even hear the horn. Exhaust fans could be used during the event. To clear the smoke. Why can't more people work the entrance? We were in a mile long line. More people can be used to check purses!
The entire event was fun and entertaining. I only wish there was a clock counting the time of each bull rider. Also a cup of ice costs $4 which I thought was ridiculous.
I wasn't impressed with the amateur riders. They didn't last long enough to get scores. I thought this was PBR. I was not impressed at all.
